NEWS
After losing a non-title match to Alicia Fox on "WWE Monday Night RAW" last night, Beth Phoenix posted a photo of her swollen face on Twitter. You can see the photo by clicking here.
In regards to the Jim Ross rap at last week's "RAW", there wasn't supposed to be the background music, and as soon as they played it he was thrown off and forgot his lines. Ross wrote: "I apologize 4 the worst segment of tv I've ever killed. Had a rap thought, lost it. Won a Slammy!:)" He also provided the rap he had planned to do: "Michael Cole ur damn fool. King beat u like Gov Mule. I should call Raw ur not in my class. U kissed kings feet now u can kiss my ass! Whew."
There was lots of talk this past Sunday night after WWE's "TLC 2011" pay-per-view about how both of WWE's major champions first made their national name on the underground as stars in Ring of Honor. Regarding the Daniel Bryan win, we've learned winning the title in WWE and being treated as a world champion are two different things. But a lot of people who weren't viewed as world champion material got titles off the Money in the Bank for the first time, and some did better with it (Edge as the obvious one) than the company expected, and others (Jack Swagger) fell by the wayside. Each case is different.
Sgt. Slaughter reportedly has a cameo on Rock?s new movie ?G.I. Joe 2" which hits theaters next year.
TNA television will be Jarrett-free for a couple of months as both Jeff and Karen Jarrett were "fired" from TNA during last week's "impact Wrestling". Jeff was fired from the storyline stemming from his loss against Jeff Hardy at the last pay-per-view, "Final Resolution". The stipulation was that one of the Jarretts would be fired if Jeff loses, and he was eventually written out. His real-life wife Karen, however, was also written off television as she will be undergoing surgery on her foot. Jeff was written out as he will be heading up TNA's side project in India and business will be going full speed ahead next month over the other side of the world.
Among the names working on the TNA TV tapings in India include Melissa Anderson (AKA Cheerleader Melissa/Alissa Flash), Joey Ryan, Shawn Daivari (AKA Abdul Bashir), Sonjay Dutt, Jimmy Rave, Zema Ion, Chris Masters, Harry Smith (AKA D. H. Smith), Drew Hankinson (AKA Luke Gallows), Nick Dinsmore (AKA Eugene), and Jeff Jarrett. Going there as bookers/writers along with Jarrett are Dutch Mantell and David Lagana, while Savio Vega will be the agent.
Rapper Killer Mike?s ?Ric Flair? song is #31 on RollingStone.com?. The website posted the following description: "A thunderous rapper, a booming gutbucket beat, samples of one of pro wrestling?s most esteemed egomaniacs, Ric Flair ? the testosterone flowing through this Southern hiphop crusher rises to WWE SmackDown levels."
Ryan Dilbert of BleacherReport.com wrote a story entitled "WWE: The Worst Finishing Moves Ever Used in WWE Rings" and coming in #1 was The Worm by Scotty Too Hotty. You can read the whole story by clicking here. Among others listed were:

Part 3 of the interview between Arda Ocal and Roddy Piper is online. WrestleMania III is discussed and when he knew he would return to the ring. Piper also talks about turning down the ideas of joining the Mr. McMahon ?Kiss my Ass? Club and receiving the Stinkface by Rikishi. Then, in an unexpected and interesting twist, Piper turns the tables on the interviewer Arda Ocal and propositions him live in the interview!.
