NEWS
Demolition (Ax & Smash), Kevin Nash, Booker T, and Arn Anderson have been added as characters for the WWE 12 video game.

Jim Ross with his excuse for walking on Raw last Monday night: "I feel I don't have to defend myself for being brought back to Raw. Why did I ever leave? Did what I thought was right. Hated it nonetheless. Love the nay Sayers who curse me re: HHH 'bringing me back.' why did I leave raw? Exactly. I love HHH but he has to make changes. I won't apologize for doing what I think is right. Getting my job back excuse doesn't flush. Why was I removed in 1st place? Child please. WWE is a cluster. Let's wrestle, ok ? I leave & I'm a bad guy? Smarten up people. You lose locker room & things have 2 b addressed. Fix it."

TNA?s Bound For Glory pay-per-view will be shown in select theaters around the country. There are three Oklahoma theaters participating:

-Carmike Lawton 8: 7102 NW Cache Rd. in Lawton
-Carmike Stillwater 10: 1909 N. Perkins Rd. in Stillwater
-Carmike Cinema Centre 8: 3031 N. Harrison St. in Shawnee

The news making the rounds is that Hulk Hogan has signed a new deal with TNA Wrestling just days before his original contract was set to expire. TNA went ahead with their Sting vs. Hogan match for "Bound of Glory" without even knowing for sure that the Hulkster was going to commit again as his deal was up before the pay-per-view. The WWE Hall of Famer joined TNA in October 2009 along with his friend and business partner Eric Bischoff.

In another great TNA moment, on their website last week there were three Hulk Hogan banners. One was promoting his retirement announcement, which took place on last week's show. The next was promoting his retirement celebration, which took place Thursday. At least that's current. And the third promotes Sting vs. Hogan at Bound for Glory in a match.

From TNA:"The Immortal" Hulk Hogan has been added to the "Main Event" session of Fan Interaction. He will join "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair, and "The Icon" Sting as part of the "Main Event" session. This along with the listings below will be part of what is sure to be an unforgettable weekend and all for only $199."

According to a report by ProWrestling.net, Bruce Prichard has replaced Vince Russo as the new head writer for TNA?s creative team. Prichard is expected to head up the talent relations area of the company, a role he took on last year. Russo will remain with TNA, but will now be considered a ?senior writer? and will continue to script the actual shows with Matt Conway once a direction is planned out by Prichard. Prichard will be the final sign off on scripts. The move reportedly went down within the last week.

Ring of Honor announcer Kevin Kelly posted a new blog and he briefly touches upon Bruce Prichard expanding his TNA role moving forward: Kelly wrote: "Big news this week was word from TNA that Bruce Prichard is now the creative catalyst, shaping the big picture going forward instead of Vince Russo. Russo will continue to write the shows but Prichard will lay out the grand direction. What is the big difference? First, Bruce is a 'big picture' guy while Russo is someone who lives and dies by the quarter hour ratings. Both can be successful in their roles. I worked with both in the WWE and Bruce is great at
playing 'big shot'? making everyone think he works hard, when he doesn?t. He plays politics very well and can listen to the alleged 'big names' in the company, taking credit for the good and passing the heat for the bad. Bruce and Russo were close friends when I knew them in the WWE. Do they still have a good relationship or will it be strained going forward? Can Prichard be the filter that Russo hasn?t had since he worked for Vince McMahon?" You can read all of Kelly's blog by clicking here.

Ric Flair has decided to postpone having surgery to reattach a torn tricep. Flair told journalist Mike Mooneyham that he might not have to surgery, after getting word from a doctor that he shoulder was actually healing.

Ryan Rider recently interview Bobby Roode. One of the questions during the inter view was "How was it like working for the ?Nature Boy? Ric Flair?" Roode answered "It?s a dream come true. I?ve been a Nature Boy fan my whole life. To be managed by Ric, to be mentored by Ric both on and off the screen was a blessing. It was an incredible feeling to see him at ringside, in my corner, to do the backstage interviews and to get to know the guy backstage. It was a great learning experience and something I will never forget. Ric Flair is one of a kind and he can take a beating and he is still ticking. 60-something years old and he lives and breathes the business." Roode was also asked about his thoughts about the co-headlining match at "Bound for Glory", Sting vs. Hulk Hogan: "It?s going to be a big match, no doubt about it. It?s been built up quite heavily. It?s been quite documented how many back surgeries Hulk has had in the past year. Sting is still Sting; the guy has still got it. So it?s going to be an interesting match .Whether you?re a wrestling fan of the 80?s, 90?s, or this era you will be interested in it. Two of the biggest names in wrestling?s history for one more time, probably the final time. This may be the last time Hulk Hogan ever steps foot inside the ring."

PBS filmed a national TV story at the Mick Foley comedy show in Levittown, NY on October 8th.

Mick Foley's Medal of Reasonableness that Jon Stewart and Steven Colbert gave him at their Rally to Restore sanity is being auctioned off to raise money for the victims of flooding in Vermont. 100% of what the auction takes in will go to the Mad River Community Fund. For more info, click here.

The Shane Helms benefit to produce a video against
the dangers of drink driving drew a little over 200 people and $5,500 in donations on Wednesday night at Charlotte Comedy Zone. Mick Foley, who organized the benefit, said everyone advertised showed up and had a great time. Ric Flair and Edge were among those in attendance and private donations were sent in from Jeff Hardy, who could not be there, and Chris Jericho. ?It was a humbling honor and something that I?ll
never forget,? said Helms. ?The respect of ones peers is a truly
wonderful feeling.? Foley has also raised more than $5,000 for his Vermont flood victims drive. He is auctioning off a number of items at TinyURL/FoleyVTDrive with 100 percent of the proceeds going to flood victims. Among the items is a package to Survivor Series in New York City in November; two tickets to the show (which is sold out), two nights stay at the New York Hilton, and lunch with Foley and other WWE stars he can talk into coming along.

Ric Flair and Mick Foley appeared on "Charlotte Today" last week promoting their appearance at the "Hurricane Relief Comedy Show" benefiting Shane "Hurricane" Helms. You can see the video by clicking here.

Ric Flair was mentioned on "The Daily Show" last Monday night when Wyatt Cenac said "Whoo" and said he was a big fan of Flair.

"Sound Off 182" interviewed photographer and author George Napolitano, a man with over 40 years in the wrestling business. We discuss the glory days of the magazines, his iconic photo of Andre the Giant, Ric Flair's NWA title defense in the Dominican Republic against Jack Veneno and why both he and Ric were scared for their lives, his relationship with Flair today, Paul Heyman and why the other photographers tried to have him barred from ringside when he first started, an interesting take on the Montreal Screwjob (which he was ringside for), taking photos of Randy Savage while he was still playing baseball, meeting a young Triple H at a high school gym and so much more. To listen to the interview, click here.

Roddy Piper is still recovering post-neck surgery. He?s had to cancel an appearance this past weekend in Orlando, FL. He said he wanted to make the date but doctors have advised him his neck needs more time to heal.

Some of the extras included in the wrestling documentary DVD "Bloodstained Memoirs" include "In the Pit: An extended interview with Roddy Piper", "Let It Snow: Al Snow outtakes and bloopers", and much more. The DVD can be pre ordered NOW from Amazon by clicking here.

The Morris County Organization for Hispanic Affairs will honor Tito Santana at their annual gala on October 22nd for his career, physical fitness advocacy and charity work. Santana is currently a Spanish teacher at Eisenhower Middle School in Roxbury Township, NJ. His wife, Leah, runs Santana?s Hair Salon at the Roxbury Mall.

There was a dismal Yokozuna Memorial show last weekend in Chester, PA at Harrah?s Casino which drew less than 200 paid. The wrestlers had easy access to alcohol as there was a bar set up in the back. Sandman was there and quickly got wasted, which may not be a major shocker, but he upset some parents of kids in the crowd, since this was a family audience. Indy workers in the area who came to show support (and
hopefully a booking) also got mad because they were told they had to pay to get in.

Kevin Von Erich is working on a new book about his time in World Class Championship Wrestling called World Class - The Story of the Von Erichs. It would be released in the spring of 2012, and is currently 1,354 pages. Von Erich said: "Hopefully not too much will get taken out at the edit. It's been real therapeutic to write. Conjuring up all those memories. It was hard at times. But I think it is a really honest book."

Pro Wrestling Illustrated released its annual PWI Female Top 50. At the top of list was Madison Eagles. Among others making the list include:
