NEWS
The Soscia Network Radio Show was live at WrestleMania and had the chance to talk with Jack Swagger and Daniel Bryan. Swagger gives us his thoughts on the most important figures in WrestleMania history plus much more. Daniel Bryan tells us about the best worker in the world and the best one he has ever been in the ring with. He also comments on how it feels to NOT be considered the palest guy in the ring when compared to Sheamus. You can see the interviews by clicking here.
Internally, WWE has been examining Wrestlemania. There is heat on agent Dean Malenko since he was responsible for laying out the Michael Cole vs. Jerry Lawler match. The feeling is that the match was not only bad, but also went on way too long ? especially the amount of offense ring announcer Cole got in on Lawler. There is also a lot of displeasure with the double count out finish in the main event ? John Cena challenging The Miz for the WWE championship. As with most aspects of creative, Vince McMahon still makes the final calls. McMahon was upset the match order leaked out, and he made several changes during the weekend, and the decision to bump the WWE United States Champion Sheamus vs. Daniel Bryan match to a dark match was made the day of the event.
Jim Ross doing Raw last week was a last-minute call.
The WrestleMania Blu-Ray will include the entire Hall of Fame ceremony, which was really quite good, particularly Triple H's induction of Shawn Michaels, which was outstanding, Shawn's speech, Dusty Rhodes' introduction of The Road Warriors & Paul Ellering, and Terry Funk's intro of Abdullah the Butcher.
WWE Hall of Famer "Superstar" Billy Graham is continuing to wage a verbal war against WWE's Hall of Fame by demanding he be removed from their list of inductees. In this instance, Graham cited WWE inducting Abdullah the Butcher into the 2011 Hall of Fame class. "It's a shameless organization to induct a bloodthirsty animal such as Abdullah the Butcher into their worthless and embarrassing Hall of Fame and I want the name Superstar Billy Graham to be no part of it. WWE and their Hall of Fame is disgustingly embarrassing. I want out," Graham told Tim Baines of the Sun newspapers in Canada.
Harley Race and Larry Hennig were both in attendance at WrestleMania.
On Saturday's SportsNation/Bracket Show, they did a WrestleMania moment segment. They did a question on who was more dominant, Undertaker or Triple H. They showed Andre the Giant choking Bob Uecker, Kane giving Pete Rose a tombstone, Floyd Mayweather against Big Show, and Undertaker vs. Triple H. Michael Beadle, one of the hosts, is a big wrestling fan.
Mick Foley appeared Monday on CNN Headline News from 4-5pm to discuss RAINN.
BetweenTheRopes.com recently spoke to Mick Foley who talked about The Rock's return to WWE, his new TNA DVD, and much more. To listen to the interview, click here.
Tom Robinson, a longtime fan from Philadelphia who got double-crossed by Sandman in a boxing match put on by Damon Feldman, whose daughter and her middle school friends were hanging out and four of them were run into by a guy with no license. One of the kids, Anthony Oswald, 14, was thrown 90 feet, stopped breathing and was in an induced coma and his heart stopped four times. Monday, Oswald, who was given little chance to survive, was able to do his ABCs and knew his name and other things. Mick Foley heard the story Monday, and offered to drive down to Philadelphia and appear free to do a two-hour autograph session to raise money for his treatment. This will be on May 8th from 1-3 p.m. at Tailgators at 60 E. Baltimore Pike in Clifton Heights, PA. It will be a $15 donation for autographs.
Kurt Angle caused some controversy when he accused Randy Orton and Jack Swagger for stealing his moves during WrestleMania on Twitter. ?To WWE wrestlers, Don?t use my
Finish. Get more Creative,? he allegedly wrote in one of the messages, with all entries coming via a text message on a cell phone. Speaking on the audio show "Wrestling News Live" with Jeff Jackson and Trey Stone last Tuesday, Angle said that he originally thought his account was hacked but then discovered that a member of his family used it after he went to bed. Angle apologized for what happened and has talked to Orton to clear the air and confirmed that it?s all okay between himself, Orton and Swagger.
Steve Gerweck of Gerweck.net recently interviewed Dory, Funk, Jr. for his website. Funk talks about his Funking Conservatory Wrestling School in Florida, winning with the NWA World Heavyweight Title, thoughts on WWE, TNA, and MMA, wrestling in Japan, Sir Oliver Humperdink, being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, and much more. To listen to the interview, click here.
A video of Scott Hall apparently having a seizure at a wrestling event made its rounds last week. Hall is now been hospitalized and is being treated for cardiac issues and possible complications from the 10 different prescriptions he is taking. Dutch Mantell posted the following on Twitter: "To Scott Hall. Scott buddy?get yourself straightened out. You got a lot of friends?use them."
Duke Myers and Archie "Mongolian Stomper" Gouldie DVDs are complete. This is the first shoot interview Gouldie, a somewhat mythical heel in Western Canada, has ever done. You can purchase the DVDs by clicking here.

They defeated The Mercenary & Alejandro to become the 1st ever champions at a show in Tahlequah on October 9, 2010. However, the celebration was short lived. Lee lost the titles to Brandon Walker & Brett Taylor in a Handicap Match in Tahlequah this past Saturday, April 9th, six months to the day of Bad Bromance's title win.
