We appreciate you stopping by today and soaking up some random thoughts from grill to shinning grill. Good day to place an order for JR's products for grilling season and for those having Wrestlemania 27 tailgate gatherings.

With the insistence of my bride, I will make a doctor's visit today to have him check out my ankle and knee as a result of the activities of Monday Night Raw. I expect everything to be fine. I'm sore, which should come as no surprise, but soreness is temporary. For the record, Jack Swagger is a pure beast and Michael Cole is 100% tool.

BTW it's not like I need to prepare for the 'Combine" or anything.

Got a great email late Monday night from The Rock who was enjoying Raw. I look forward to the opportunity to visit with the Great One in Atlanta. Rock was definitely one of our all time best signings and it's guys like him that made my tenure as head of talent relations seem so successful.

Obviously, it was an interesting night Monday in St. Louis with my 'surprise' appearance that did not make the 'spoiler' list on the far reaching internet. Surprises are good in the genre or so I think.

The segment that I joined in progress for a combustible cameo was the highest rated segment of the entire show. That tells me that the Lawler-Cole WM bout is greatly anticipated and that their personal issue has significant interest. Strange, isn't it, how a long arching, well planned and strategic, personal issue still works in the 'ever changing' world of pro wrestling?

Not really. Successful TV shows all play upon basic personality traits of their viewers and the King/Cole dynamic is easy to understand and pushes the basic albeit correct buttons of the fans. Pro wrestling doesn't need to be over thought or overproduced which then makes the viewer process too much info.

As I Tweeted earlier today @JRsBBQ, there are several reports on the Internet as to what my exact assignment will be at WM27. Some have even reported it as a firm, definitive news item.

The truth is that I have not been informed as to any, definite role I may have at WM27 other than my two appearances at Axxess.

Obviously, I would enjoy broadcasting WM27 but that decision isn't mine to make and whatever call is made I will be good with for WM27 weekend. Broadcasting the four hour PPV is a daunting task but a challenge that I always embraced.

Nice seeing WWE HOF'er Harley Race in St. Louis. Harley looked good and, I think, the former NWA Champion recorded some comments regarding the upcoming, iconic battle regarding 'The Streak' at WM27 between Undertaker vs. HHH. I also was able to speak on that match.

While Snooki's in ring expertise may never be confused with many past or present WWE Divas, the value of having Snooki on the Wrestlemania card has already been established with the massive amount of main stream PR that the 'Jersey Shore' personality has garnered. I was amazed at how short Snooki was as she seemed to be cooperative and professional based on my limited observations of her.

Don't know when the next WWE Draft will occur as it doesn't affect me. The Draft is a nice TV ratings themed broadcast for RAW so if it occurs one could assume it would be a few weeks after Wrestlemania. The WWE Draft did not produce my favorite, personal TV moment.

People who want to be in WWE should have a college degree before trying to obtain any job with the company IMO. Having nothing to fall back on if things don't work out is essential. Putting all one's eggs in one basket in today's world is foolish. This is especially true for those who want to become in ring stars. Many more will fail to make it than will become long term contributors.

No, I have no personal issues with Road Dogg nor have I watched his independently produced interview where he allegedly blasted me. Everyone has an opinion and I don't live or die on other's opinions. Brian was/is a talented guy and I'm very proud that his Dad 'Bullet' Bob Armstrong is going into the WWE Hall of Fame. My former role in WWE administration was one that put me in a position to have to make tough, unpopular decisions so I'm not surprised that some former wrestlers don't have me on their holiday card list.

We have no book deal in place as of yet but my first book will not be an autobiography. I'm still considering other, potential subject matter.

Have I ever wrestled in a pro match a fan wanted to know. A lukewarm 'Yes' is the answer but in reality the answer should be "not very well." Where do you think my 'cow on ice' term originated? Plus my won-loss record isn't so sterling.

Will Kurt Angle ever return to WWE? How would I or any one other than Kurt and the WWE decision makers know the answer to this? However, I'd suggest that most former WWE talents who had the chance to come back to WWE and earn a good, steady living would all entertain that thought. Angle's greatest professional moments IMO were in WWE and him being able to finish in WWE might make for some compelling TV. Again, not my call.

My favorite Steiner Brothers tag team matches were against Dr. Death Steve Williams and Terry Gordy. This was when tag team wrestling had national TV relevancy.

I choose not to respond in detail to recent TNA internal issues as I don't follow their product closely nor do I know the actual details of what may or may not have occurred over the past few days. However, I do still profess to the philosophy that if one can't solve a problem one must eliminate it.
