WWE Legend "The Genius" Lanny Poffo And Jimmy Hart Headline Event To Raise Money For Children's Cancer Research

Friday, March 11, 2011 at the Double Tree Hotel on Cypress Avenue in Tampa, FL., Koncert-4-Kiddz will host their 5th Annual benefit concert to raise money the Pediatric Cancer Foundation, Inc. (PCF). This event is packed full of celebrity guests and performers to make the event magical.

The last 4 concerts raised over $65,000.00 on behalf of PCF to help fund pediatric cancer research. The goal is to stamp out pediatric cancer now. This year Koncert-4-Kiddz looks to exceed last years mark of $15,000.00 in donations.

This star studded event will feature: WWE Legend "The Genius" Lanny Poffo, "The Mouth of the South" Jimmy Hart, 106.3 FM's Marvelous Marvin, Hooters Nation Morning Show's Lynn Austin, Dennis Pavluk, Eben Brown, Chloe Cabrera, Belinda Womack and many more.

The scheduled MCs for the night are FOX 13's Charley Belcher, NewsTalk 820's Chris Markowski and Brighthouse Networks Jennifer Holloway.

Every year more than 12,000 infants and children are diagnosed with cancer. Cancer does not discriminate. It can strike anyone at any time.

PCF has funded more than $3.8 million dollars in research over the last 18 years towards pediatric cancer. Over the first 15 years of existence, PCF has funded seed grants at St. Joseph's Children's Hospital, H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center, Research Institute in Tampa, All Children's Research Institute in St. Petersburg, the University of Florida in Gainesville, and
the University of Miami-School of Medicine
