Walker Refuses To Abide By Anyone's Rules

Walker Refuses To Abide By Anyone's Rules

There is always a place for the angry young man, with his fist in the air and his head in the sand -- Billy Joel

It wouldn't be an false statement to suggest that Brandon Walker is an angry young man. And his anger has been taken out on the fans and combatants in ComPro. Walker seems angry at the world and is taking it out on anyone around him.

Walker seems intent on making an impression on ComPro owner Mike Two, showing up at the ComPro events even though he isn't booked or invited. On December 18, Walker interrupted the opening of the Night of Champions event and said he couldn't understand why he wasn't booked on the card. Mike Two reminded Walker that he HAD been booked for the Oklahoma Stampede, but he hadn't bothered to show up, to which Walker replied that he was "too big" for a Battle Royal and should be in the main event. Mike Two was upset that he had to replace Walker with Alec Bisogno and "No one wants to see Alec Bisogno wrestle!". But Mike had an opponent for Walker backstage and brought out Fuel. Walker and Fuel were very familiar with each other, having competed regularly with each other in UWE. But Walker's attitude seemed to catch the diminutive star by surprise and he wasn't able to rally back from the onslaught of underhanded tactics. After a long match, Walker connected with the Defamation of Character and took home a victory in the match.

On January 8, Walker continued to interrupt Mike Two's openings by coming out, but this time, Mike Two was prepared and presented him with the returning Amazing Bolo as an opponent. Walker didn't take this seriously and within a few seconds of the match starting, Walker ripped Bolo's mask off, exposing him as Jayson Boss. Walker lost the match by DQ, but Mike Two wouldn't allow that to the final decision between them and ordered a rematch to immediately occur. Another spectacular match came between the two, but once again, Walker left victorious.

This past Saturday, Walker once again interrupted the opening comments. Mike Two jokingly said that Walker was late, as he had almost got to bring out the announce team. Mike Two then went on to say that he had been promised something big from Mike Two this week. Mike Two said that he had a big opponent for Walker, someone that had only suffered one defeat since returning to ComPro. He then produced Cold Blooded Chris and told Walker that it wouldn't be a standard match between the two. It would be a Body Slam Challenge. Walker found it impractical to try and pick up the mass of C. B. C., so he manipulated things so that the large star would end up colliding with the referee in the corner, earning Walker a win by DQ. Walker then went on to beat C. B. C. with the ring bell, putting him out of action and denying the Hardcore Playas a shot at the ComPro Tag Team Titles.

That wasn't enough for Walker, though. As TAP Oklahoma Heritage & ComPro Showtime Champion Tim Rockwell prepared to defend his title against MWA Tag Team Champion Joe Cothern, Walker made an unexpected appearance, leveling Rockwell from behind and rendering him unconscious. Once again, Mike Two had to come out and take control of the situation. Walker claimed that Rockwell was mouthing off to him backstage and that was why he did what he did. Cothern quickly stepped up to the defence of the fallen star and challenged Walker to a match. Mike Two uped the ante, noting that if Walker wanted to compete in ComPro, he would have to step in the ring with Cothern. Outmatched in size and power, Walker again resorted to the illegal tactics, As Cothern went for the Safecracker finisher, he accidentally hit the referee with Walker after picking him up. Walker took the opportunity to hit Cothern with a HARD shot to the groin and then achieved another pin through illicit means.

Walker's attitude even took over in UWE, where he was still a beloved superstar. UWE commissioner Princess Brittani forced Walker to face Fuel in a match where the loser was banned from competing in UWE. After a lengthy match, where Walker let loose some of his more aggressive nature, Fuel got the pinfall. Brittani then offered Walker a deal he couldn't refuse. He would be allowed to remain on the UWE roster if he beat down Fuel after the match. Seeing no other alternative, Walker allowed greed to overcome his long-term friendship and brutally attacked the victorious star.

Walker allows no one to dictate to him what his rules are. Despite his attitude, Walker remains victorious in ComPro. His new attitude is yet to be tested in UWE. He also made a return to MWA, although it was a losing effort to the Canadian Red Devil. Walker seems determined to make 2011 a new start for himself and doesn't appear concerned with who he has to step on to achieve that goal.
