Sadat Thirsts For Vengeance After Huge Event

Sadat Thirsts For Vengeance After Huge Event

Posted: Oct 9th 2010 By: CMBurnham

Some say that hardcore wrestling is done by the toughest in the business. They put their bodies on the line an withstand more punishment than anyone else.

Others say that hardcore wrestling is the level for those who cannot actually wrestle. They compete with the assistance of trashcans, cookies sheets and other material because if they met their opponent in a one-on-one match, they would be defeated every single time.

"The Oklahoma Hardcore Legend" is the title that Kareem Sadat proudly wears every time he comes to the ring. He's been the SWCW Hardcore Champion 11 times. And he is the undisputed leader of the Hardcore Connection. But after the events of "Thirst For Gold", Sadat's empire seems to be crumbling around him. And the man who he fought (and generally lost to) for the first half of this year has returned to continue their fued, perhaps taking it into 2010.

The first strike against Sadat came in a match that he wasn't even involved in. Rick Garrett returned in an unexpected surprise appearance to the Underground Arena and said he was bringing back Trailer Park Trash. But it wasn't J. C. & K. C. It was going to be a different team with the same name. Moonshine then arrived, accompanied by his new partner Hillbilly. Milton Winkelman started to announce their opponents, but Sadat and David Kyzer came out. Sadat seemed to want a tag match, teaming with Kyzer and taking on the new TPT. SWCW Commissioner Shawn McKeaigg said Kyzer and Sadat had a match later in the card against each other and had signed TPT to face 3rd Rail and Sam Stackhouse. But Garrett's heckels were already ruffled and he continued to get in Sadat's face, despite Sadat's demands that he sit down. Eventually, he called for the microphone and said that if he sat down, he wanted Sadat at the next show. Sadat countered with the idea that Garrett should face himself, Maniac Mike and Shane Sanchez in a Handicap Match. Garrett proposed a 6-man Tag with TPT as his partners against the Hardcore Connection group. Shawn McKeaigg ejected Sadat and Kyzer from ringside before any true announcement could be made for that match, but Garrett's presence would be felt later on in the show.

The next match saw Outlaw challenge Tyson Jaymes for the SWCW Title. Tension had been building for quite some time between Outlaw and Sadat over the treatment of Outlaw's biological daughter, Nikki Knight. With the Hardcore Connection stationed at ringside during the match, it was obvious that there wasn't any hope for fair match, but Outlaw shocked many of the fans by demanding that his faction associates not interfere in any way. Obviously, this wasn't their style and they demonstrated as much several times during the match when Tyson would be thrown outside the ring. Sadat, Sanchez & Mike would try to jump on him gangland style, but Outlaw would wave them off, wanting to prove he could do this on his own. Eventually, after a rally by Jaymes, Mike and Sanchez hopped up on the ring and distracted George Knight, allowing Sadat to slide in the ring and knock Tyson out with a foreign object. He then took Outlaw, who had been knocked unconscious just before the interference, placed him on top of Jaymes, and slid out of the ring., Knight then turned around and counted the pin, proclaiming Outlaw the SWCW Champion for the second time. But the new champ had been unconscious for the whole event and it didn't take a rocket scientist to figure out what had happened when Outlaw regained his senses. After a brief arguement, Outlaw became the target of a gangland style beating, but fought all his former stablemates off, clearing Sanchez & Mike out of the ring, then chokeslamming Sadat. Outlaw swore at that moment that he had made some huge mistakes over the past few months and that he would do whatever it took to get his daughter back.

The crowning moment for Sadat in this night came when he came to the ring for his 6 Sides of Sickness match, where he was to defend his SWCW All-American Title against his own brother, TAP Adrenaline Champion David Kyzer. The revelation that Kyzer was his brother had come at the last show and was a complete shock to the fans in the Underground Arena as Kyzer had been defending the honour of Nikki Knight. When Sadat took control of Nikki, he also decided to reveal the relationship between the two men. Kyzer was forced to become an assoicate of the Hardcore Connection, but the hatred in his eyes burned every time the two of them came to the ring together. Kyzer now had his opportunity....or so he thought. But Shawn McKeaigg had an extra surprise for Sadat before the main event. He reminded Sadat that he was a dual champion, as he was also the SWCW Hardcore Champion. And since this was "Thirst For Gold", all the titles were to be defended. That meant that before his match with Kyzer, he had to face an unknown opponent in the 6 Sides of Sickness. And that opponent turned out to be Kevin James Sanchez. Sanchez made Sadat a bloody mess and employed a variety of hardcore weapons in the barbed wire cage before winning the title with a school boy. With that match out of the way, McKeaigg allotted Sadat a one minute rest period before the All-American Title defence began. But he also said that since they were already in the cage and the weapons from the previous match were all around, he was going to go ahead and make that match a Hardcore Match as well. Sadat tried to beg off the match and said that they could just go to thier parents' house and talk everything over, but Kyzer wasn't buying it. He promised to do what he needed to and then began to viciously rip into Sadat. All the rage over the "possession" of Nikki. All the frustration over having to hang around with the Hardcore Connection. All the pent-up anger from the manipulations of his brother poured out and Kyzer became a man possessed, using a variety of objects in the ring to elicit more blood, more bruises, more bodily damage. And while he certainly took some harm himself, he seemed almost immune to the pain at times as his purpose kept him going through the torture. With the crowd firmly behind him, and with the Hardcore Connection unable to get in the cage to interfere, Kyzer formulated his plan and climbed to the top rope, then leapt off in a Superfly-style plunge onto Sadat, pinning him to reclaim the All-American Title. With the match over, the Hardcore Connection members ripped open the cage and raced in, only to be met with lashes from a belt courtesy of Kyzer. Shane Sanchez was able to recover and sneak up behind Kyzer to lay him out. Sadat, still losing blood at an unhealthy level, grabbed the microphone and called Rick Garrett into the ring, asking if he wanted some of this. Garrett arrived, but he didn't arrive unarmed as he brought a staplegun with him! Not able to get to Sadat, he stapled Shane Sanchez in the leg. Sadat also called out Outlaw and Kevin James Sanchez. While they were arriving, Garrett was able to staple Maniac Mike in the butt! Then, when Outlaw and KJ arrived an all out brawl occurred with all six men enclosed by the barbed wire cage.

Sadat was able to slither out of the ring in a hole that the other Hardcore Connection members had made during the main event and eventually his teammates joined him. As the 3 champions stood proud in the ring, the one piece of the puzzle that Sadat still had control of was Nikki Knight, forced to sit at ringside and witness all of this while wearing the burka of Sadat's homeland. Outlaw told Sadat that he would get his daughter back even if it meant the end of him and that if he thought he was bleeding now, he hadn't see anything. With everything else lost to him, Sadat will probably tighten his grip on the one remaining token of control he had. As long as Nikki is in his possession, Outlaw knows he has to be careful as Sadat is not beyone physically injuring women. But Sadat has managed to make 1 new enemy and reignite issues with 2 long-standing enemies. The odds aren't on his side, but Sadat is as crafty as they come and fans can be assured he has a plan for himself and the Hardcore connection. Sadat is determined to be victorious in this affair. His thirst for vengeance is overwhelming. And it just might lead to his ultimate defeat.
