Jake Roberts Interview Recap

Recently Low Blow Radio and The Unrated Hour joined forces to present The Unrated Hour?s 100TH SHOW!!!!!

This very special podcast includes in depth interviews with pro wrestling legend Jake ?The Snake? Roberts, former WWE and TNA star Shawn Daivari, former WWE star Kizarny, and more! The following are several highlights of Jake's portion of the show?

JAKE ?THE SNAKE? ROBERTS?

When asked about his future in the business Roberts said?

?I think it?s about time I retire, even though I hate to say it. I can?t do the things I once could. I have some health problems I can?t mess with. Of all the strange, queer things to happen to you, my tendons in my hands are shortening so my fingers are curling up. The only way to correct that is to have major surgery on all fingers and I?m just not ready to do that today. On top of that my lungs are screwed up from genetics. Kids? never ever smoke a cigarette or some dope. Don?t do anything stupid like that. Your lungs are very important. There?s nothing like trying to do something you want to do but can?t because you can?t breathe.?

When asked about the rumor of running for public office with Linda McMahon, Roberts' squashed the rumor by stating?

?I am not running for public office with Linda. I thought about it but it?s not going to happen.?

When asked about wrestling today and its up to date presentation, Roberts replied?

?To me that?s still not wrestling. I?m not old school. I?m from the school that burnt down before they built the old school. Take a guy sitting in the ring with another guy in a headlock for 15 minutes and the crowd wanting to run in the ring and kill him. That?s wrestling. There?s no heat involved today. It?s all about flash and dance. Sort of like movies today. It?s all about the visual effects.?
