Adam Pearce versus former WWE Star
NWA Southwest commissioner Ken Taylor announced July 3 that former 8-year WWE star Charlie Haas will challenge three-time NWA World Heavyweight champion Adam Pearce for the title at the NWA Parade of Champions card August 14, in Gainesville, Texas.
Haas challenged Pearce saying he?s the ?greatest wrestler of all-time? and wants to prove it by winning pro wrestling?s top prize, and winning the title on Texas ground. Pearce accepted the challenge via a series of You Tube exchanges recently. The match was signed today.
The sanctioned title match will be the main event on the most recognized longest running wrestling event in Texas history dating back to 1972.
