Chaos Reigns at 412PE Event in Greasy

Chaos Reigns at 412PE Event in Greasy

Posted: May 5th 2010 By: CMBurnham

As unlikely as it seems, the voice of reason for 412PE might just be Running Wolf.

Since the inception of the company, the veteran performer has gone out of his way to make it known that he hates everyone. Wolf's ego is as huge as some of his opponents, but his two reigns as 412PE Champion has made it difficult to argue that he's simply a blowhard trying to gain some attention.

Last month saw Wolf make a challenge to the 412PE Champion Tex in an attempt to gain that title for the 3rd time. The effort failed and Wolf's actions against referee Red River Jack 2nd only seemed to show how despicable an individual he is. But the next week in Marble City, it seemed that things might have been a little different. Althought Wolf wasn't scheduled on the card, he hung around backstage, perhaps waiting for an opportunity to exert his influence and show his presence. That opportunity came when The Trenchcoat Mafia won the 412PE Tag Team Titles after conniving with Mr. Big and then enacted a 3-on-2 beatdown of The Unknown and an injured J. R. Orullian. To everyone's surprise, Running Wolf appeared and helped chase off the TCM. Wolf told the former champions that he didn't do this because he liked either of them, he just wanted to beat someone up.

Mr. Big had not forgotten Wolf's actions when 412PE rolled into Greasy, OK on May 1st. Mr. Big was scheduled for a match against Running Wolf, but had something to get off his ample chest before the match started. He told the crowd that he didn't appreciate Wolf sticking his nose into other people's business. Wolf came out and mocked Big's size. He also attempted to goad Big into putting the $5000 cash that he had been paid by J. R. Orullian to take his place in the tag team title match in Marble City up for grabs. Big wouldn't oblige. Conversation then turned to the possibility that Mr. Big was going on a date with one of the fans. Suffice it to say that there was a lot of talk between them, but Wolf shot down every barb and zinger that Mr. Big had for him. The match finally started, but it didn't take long for all 3 members of the Trenchcoat Mafia to hit the ring, coming in from the public entranceway. With odds stacked at 4-on-1, Wolf seemed like he would be the victim of a public mugging until Orullian and the Unknown came to his rescue. With Wolf & his allies holding the inside of the ring and the TCM occupying the outside, a sort of Mexican standoff occurred and once again a war of words began. J. R. was able to reposses the briefcase with the $5000 in it, but didn't have it for long as Billy Ray snuck behind him and took it back.

As in Marble City, Wolf made it clear that he didn't like Orullian and he particularly disliked The Unknown, but he hated the TCM more than either of them, so he was willing to put aside his differences and work together in a 6-man tag team match against Mr. Big and the TCM. The duplicitous four-some huddled and conversed and then agreed that this would be acceptable, but of course, it wouldn't be as easy as it sounded at the beginning. Practically from the beginning, the match was total chaos and referee Bobby Jay had little to no control. Orullian was isolated and worked over by Ryan Reed & Dennis Williams. And Billy Ray certainly took his opportunities from the outside. Then, in a demonstration of just how little control the referee had, Mr. Big was heavily winded and moved to the outside, "tagging" Billy Ray while taking a breather. Billy entered the ring and proceded to get pummelled. The referee saw all this and allowed it to happen, so the match became something of a de facto handicap match.

The singles contest between Mr. Big and Running Wolf had been declared a No-Contest and this followed suit as well. Orullian was completely irate and demanded that there should be a rematch. 412PE commissioner Amanda granted his wish and did him one better. She put the Tag Team Titles on the line in a 6-man tag. She also guaranteed that Billy Ray would be handcuffed to something to ensure that he is unable to interfere in the match. The war between Orullian & the Unknown and The Trenchcoat Mafia might finally be coming to an end. But the issues involving Running Wolf, Mr. Big and anyone who gets in their way seem to only be beginning.
