THIS SATURDAY, August 15th 2009, we're producing what should very well be one of the most special nights not just in ACW history, but certainly on the entire Indy Wrestling circuit...

On the same night Asylum Wrestling celebrates it's 7th anniversary, our very own legend Dr. Death Steve Williams will be hanging up the boots...

Dr. Death has spent the past 20 plus years gracing rings and stages all over the world, stepped foot in the ring with just about every wrestling name you can think of, and garnered a reputation as one of pro wrestling true legitimate bad asses! In recent years he's been a major part of ACW, and we are honored above words to have feature his final in ring performance during our August 15th event...

This night isn't about ticket sales for us, it truly isn't about being better than the next promotion or anything like that... August 15th is about Appreciation for Dr. Death, Appreciation for what we have and Appreciation for this business that we are all so lucky to have in our lives... Whether you're a paying fan with ticket in hand, or a face on the roster, or part of the ring crew etc. We are all lucky to have this in our lives...

I Appreciate the seven years ACW has been in existence, I Appreciate every bump taken, every crew member, and especially every fans that has claimed a seat for any of our 103 events... It wasn't easy getting this far, but at the same time it has been some of the best times of my life...

I cannot imagine how DOC is feeling right now heading into his final night, hell i've tried to quit before for various reasons and I can't. I know DOC hasn't been given the best of choices in this matter, so I know it's got to be difficult for him. Thus the reason ACW is going above and beyond it's means to ensure that this will be a night our friend Dr. Death will certainly never forget... Nor will the fans or anyone else in that building on that particular night...

On behalf of ACW, I would like to sincerely thank DOC for his years in our business, for paving the way and for treating ACW and myself with nothing but kindness and respect...

I look back to our first anniversary 6 years ago, down in Graham Central Station in Wichita Falls, Texas... I cut a promo at the end of the show talking about how much fun ACW had been for that year and how it's only going to get bigger and better from then on out... Well here we are celebrating our seventh birthday, and it's gotten A LOT bigger and better... ACW is proof that with time, patience and an open mind, greater things will come... I seriously cannot wait to see where we are in 7 more years...

If you're a wrestling fan, worker, or just someone that wants to witness one of the most emotional and historic nights in our business with BIG surprises at every turn... BE AT TH PHIL LONG EXPO CENTER THIS SATURDAY NIGHT! Doors open at 6, Show starts at 7:30, We kept tickets cheap $10 in advance at www.ticketswest.com and $12 Day of Show at the gate, All Ages, Food, Drinks, and the very best in Pro Wrestling Insanity! DO - NOT - MISS - THIS - SPECIAL - NIGHT!!!
