CBC Crushes Former Partner In Bodyslam Challenge

Posted: Apr 2nd 2009 By: CMBurnham

Cold Blooded Chris brought back an old staple of his last Saturday in the Bodyslam Challenge. He challenged his former partner Kobra Kai and reigned victorious in this event.

Chris, who was accompanied to the ring by Brett Taylor, faced the masked martial arts star in a Bodyslam Challenge, where the first person to body slam their opponent would be declared the winner. While Kai attempted to use his speed and knowledge of martial arts to wear down his opponent, this ultimately proved fruitless as he was not able to lift the massive superstar off his feet. CBC then responded with clubbing blows on the back before picking up Kobra Kai and depositing him with a resounding thud on the mat, gaining the win.

CBC has seemed much more focused since realigning himself with former manager Boss Campbell. It was during his previous stint with Campbell that CBC was introduced as the "World Bodyslam Champion", a title that Oklafan does not recognise. CBC remained undefeated in those types of matches until he was turned on by his fellow Innovative Combat Fighters members and kicked out of the group.

Having now severed the last possible tie to the No Mercy Dojo, CBC can look forward to targeting some gold in ComPro. While he's only held singles titles before, he does have several partners to choose from that are also managed by Boss Campbell. He seems most closely aligned with Goldeneye and that pair could very well step up to meet Team SuperBad in the near future.
