At IZW's "Chaotic Christmas" event this past Saturday in Lawton, the inaugural members of the IZW Hall of Impact were inducted. The first two honorees were Brad Michaels and Kenny Campbell. Michaels was a 2-time IZW Impact Division Champion and a 2-time IZW Tag Team Champion (one each with Dexter Hardaway and Seth Allen). Michaels was also a member of Impact, Inc. Campbell was a 4-time IZW Impact Division Champion, a 1-time IZW Hardcore Champion, and a 1-time IZW Tag Team Champion (with Tyler Bateman).

Power Slam Magazine recently released its list of the Top 50 professional wrestlers. Shawn Michaels topped the list. The only wrestler with Oklahoma ties to make the list was A. J. Styles at #16.

The Hollywood movie premiere of "The Wrestler" took place last weekend. Among those there were Ric Flair, Greg Valentine, Roddy Piper, Dallas Page, Brutus Beefcake, and Ernest Miller, along with the stars of the movie.

WWE will release a 3-disc box set of "The Best of Saturday Night's Main Event" soon. Among the matches included are the following: Roddy Piper vs. Paul Orndorff (10/5/85), Ricky Steamboat vs. Jake Roberts (10/4/86), Randy Savage vs. Jake Roberts for Intercontinental title (11/29/86), Hulk Hogan vs. Paul Orndorff (Steel Cage Match 1/3/87), The Hart Foundation (Bret Hart & Jim Neidhart) vs. The British Bulldogs (Dynamite Kid & Davey Boy Smith) (2/3 falls 5/2/87), Honky Tonk Man vs. Randy Savage for Intercontinental title (10/3/87), and Ricky Steamboat & The U. S. Express (Mike Rotunda & Barry Windham) vs. The Iron Sheik, Nikolai Volkoff & George Steele (5/11/85).

"WWE The Music Vol. 9" will be released on January 27th with themes both old and new including Demolition (Ax & Smash), Brutus Beefcake, Chris Jericho, Steve Austin, Eddie Guerrero, The Undertaker, Mankind, Triple H, The Legion of Doom (Hawk & Animal), Jim Duggan, Rick Rude, The Rock, Randy Orton, Vladimir Kozlov, Maryse, Santino Marella, Ted DiBiase, Jr., Kelly Kelly, Kung Fu Naki, Natalya, Evan Bourne, William Regal, The Boogeyman, John Cena, Jack Swagger, and Tommy Dreamer. They will also have the original "Saturday Night's Main Event" theme, the original "Prime Time Wrestling" theme, theme from Raw and Wrestlemania 10 theme.

Jakke Pacific has released photos of the WWE Classic Superstars 23 series. The series will include The Berzerker, Hawk, Animal, Rob Van Dam, Spike Dudley, Billy Kidman, Big Bossman, Trish Stratus, and Lance Storm. To view the photos, click here.

Due to the icy weather conditions in central Illinois, the appearances of Jim Duggan, Koko B. Ware & Jerry Lawler at the Peoria Rivermen game in Peoria, IL last Friday was cancelled. Spokemen have promised that the event will be rescheduled.

In a weird trivia note, Rick Warren, who is delivering the invocation at Barack Obama's inaugural address (which has come under heavy fire), is a protege of Wallie Amos Criswell. W.A. Criswell, as pastor for the First Baptist Church of Dallas, was the pastor of the church the Von Erich family was aligned with during their heyday and was credited by Jack Adkisson (Fritz Von Erich) as explaining his born-again experience during the 70's
