X Gonna Give It To Ya!

X-Cal was the surprise 5th entrant in the Ganutlet Match where ComPro Oklahoma X Division Champion The Greatest Bolo was forced to defend his title. But that wasn't really what X-Cal was focused on. He wants to settle things with ComPro Tag Team Champion Dutch Hagen once and for all.
Last week, ComPro owner Mike Two had forced The Greatest Bolo to defend his title in a Gauntlet match as payback for his attack on Justin Lee after winning the belt. And he forced Bolo to start the match, meaning if he intended to hold on to the title, he would have to win against all the opponents. The quality of opposition was not the highest, as Bolo's first 4 opponents included Rico Suave, Michael York, Das Karnage and Kobra Kai. Even though thier level of talent was relatively low, Sensei Bolo still feared the possible upset and hit each of these men with his kendo stick after they came through the curtain, allowing them to be disposed of quickly.
After defeating all 4, Sensei thought the night was over, but Mike Two came out and said he had one more opponent for the champion in the form of X-Cal. X-Cal returned after suffering a knee injury in a grudge match against Dutch and was prepared to capture gold, something he hadn't done in Oklahoma since 2003. Despite the support of the crowd and the surprise factor of being the last entrant in the gauntlet, X-Cal couldn't predict that Dutch Hagen would make his way to the ring area and interfere in the match, tripping X-Cal from outside. This let the Greatest Bolo roll him up and put his feet on the ropes to gain leverage for the pin. Once again, Hagen had stuck his nose in where it didn't belong.
Fans thought that X-Cal would simply wait until the next show to enact some revenge for Dutch's actions and they couldn't have been more wrong. After retaining the ComPro Tag Team Titles through duplicitous means and then trying to sexually harass ring announcer Jamie, ComPro Tag Team Champions Legion 13 had to assist their manager Ray Martinez to the back after he was slapped hard by the ring announcer. Dutch helped Ray to the back, then returned to pick up the tag team titles and that was when X-Cal made his move, springing from the entrance way and jumping on Dutch from behind. A brief brawl brought Dutch's tag team partener Jesus Rodriguez back out and it was 2-on-1 until the arrival of Team SuperBad. With the odds evened, Legion 13 attempted to hold their own, but eventually ran away, knowing they didn't have a numbers advantage.
The bond between Justin Lee & X-Cal certainly seems to have lasted over a long time and various issues between the two. Even though X-Cal didn't ask for the help, he certainly needed it against the wiley man who thinks he's better looking than everyone else. And once again, X-Cal is back to where he was before taking a month off. No title belt, no partner, no meaningful match. But all that is poised to change as X-Cal will be pursuing the ComPro Oklahoma X Division Title. And with the new year just around the corner, it seems like a great idea to put "claim some gold" down as a New Years' Resolution...and actually stick to it.
