Two Years Later, Rockwell & Lee Are Still Feuding
Posted: Jul 31st 2008 By: CMBurnham
On March 4, 2006, Justin Lee and Tim Rockwell met in Oklahoma? first ever ?Broken Arrow Street Fight.? That bloody match capped off a feud that spanned the better part of 2005 and 2006. Apparently, two years later, nothing has been resolved.
Their feud began in the now defunct Tornado Pro Wrestling. Tim Rockwell was a mainstay at rival promotion Steel Rage Pro Wrestling, while Justin Lee was one of the poster boys of Tornado Pro. When Rockwell decided that he wanted to work for both promotions, Justin Lee did not take kindly to the cocky Tim Rockwell walking into the TPW locker room and not showing the proper respect to the guys who had carried that federation since the beginning. When they finally met in the ring, the matches took a particular intense tone. None was more violent than the Broken Arrow Street Fight that left both men a bloody mess and barely able to stand.
Over the next two years, Justin and Tim wrestled each other all over the state in feds like SWCW, NWA-OK, and now here in ComPro. The stakes have changed, but the hatred is still the same, if not more intense than ever.
In two weeks at the Night of Champions IX event in Tulsa, these two life long rivals will once again meet. This time, it is for the highly sought after ComPro Oklahoma X Division championship. Justin, a former two time champion, has promised over and over that he will beat Tim Rockwell for the belt, no matter what the cost.
