"The Real Deal" Pays Off Big For Miss Sheila

"The Real Deal" Pays Off Big For Miss Sheila

Posted: Jul 10th 2008 By: CMBurnham

After six matches had commenced, Kareem Sadat had 3 victories and SWCW Hardcore Champion Miss Sheila had 3 victories. The tie breaker would be a giant battle royal. Each team filled the ring and at the sound of the bell they attacked. For the next 20 minutes it was chaos, friends fighting friends, partners fighting partners. One by one, the competitors were sent over the top rope until there were only a few left. The standoff consisted of Havoc, SWCW Champion 3rd Rail, Se7en and Aaron Neil. Havoc, Se7en and Neil all teamed up and eventually heaved the mammoth Rail over the top rope for the elimination. Havoc then eliminated Se7en but was out-foxed by Aaron Neil as the "Real Deal" sent him tumbling to the floor below. That meant that the Miss Sheila's team had won and that she will have complete control of SWCW.

Other notes from "Scars and Stripes"
-The show started with a bang as "Playboy" Damon Windsor made his way down to the ring. After insulting security, the fans, the ring announcer and pretty much anyone in earshot; he addressed his scheduled opponent for the night Havoc. Windsor apologized to the fans stating that Havoc wouldn't be there as he was a shell of a man since Windsor had taken the title from around his waist. At that point the mysterious blue-painted warrior Havoc made his way down to the ring. Windsor's tone quickly changed as he started asking Havoc how he'd been before making a bold mistake by asking "How's your wife and my kid?" The enraged Havoc dropped Windsor and began pummeling him without mercy, Windsor gained control but late (thanks to some distractions from SWCW Cruiserweight Champion Xavior) in the match was hti by Havoc's Hangman for what appeared to be a 3 count, but after the bell rang the ref signaled that Windsor had actually kicked out of Havoc's devastating finisher. As Windsor demanded that the ref correct his mistake, he turned directly into Havoc flying off the second rope with a huge cross-body and this time the 3-count was undeniable.

-SWCW Cruiserweight Champion Xavior came to the ring accompanied by Damon Windsor who seemed to still be feeling the effects of his bout with Havoc. His opponent for the night would be The "Shining Angel" Sage. The two have had series of very strong matches but this one blew them all away. Xavior had stated that this would be Sage's final shot at the Cruiserweight title and Sage came to fight. It seemed that Xavior was going to use his power to dominate much like he had in the past but Sage had become very familiar with his style and used that knowledge well. He got the champ in trouble and went for his Codebreaker style finisher but Xavior too was familiar with Sage and reversed it into a sledgehammer spinebuster. Xavior then locked Sage intto his reverse figure-4 "Shin-Grinder" but Sage reached down and crawled to the ropes. Xavior, furious, screamed in the ref's face and distracted him as Windsor got on the apron and went to chokeslam Sage but the "Shining Angel" blocked it and hit a huge "Pelee" kick. As Xavior capitalized, setting up Sage for his "Hand That Rocks The Cradle" DDT, Sage flipped out, landing behind the champion and running him nto the ropes, knocking Windsor to the floor and rolling up Xavior for the win and the title.

-Matt Emerald made his SWCW in-ring return as he took on Spur The Clown. Spur thought he was to go up against Outlaw but Kareem Sadat put Emerald in his place. This proved to be a good choice as Emerald was in no mood for clowning around and made short work of Spur, earning the victory for Sadats team.

-SWCW Champion 3rd Rail had his hands full as he was to take on Devon Monroe AND Romo in a triple threat match. Both Monroe and Romo took turns trying to topple the behemoth Champion but were unable. They even tried teaming up against but only gained a bit of success through that. Romo looked to have some serious momentum at one point as he hit a huge diving-double-clothesline from the outside. Romo couldn't keep that momentum though as it was "The Monster" 3rd Rail who powered his way to yet another victory.

-In a Mixed Team Tag Match Shane Sanchez and SWCW Tag Team Champion Rage took on their partners Kevin James Sanchez and SWCW Tag Team Champion Damien Morte. This was a tough match as neither team wanted to fight their partners. They mostly stuck to battling with the members of their partners' team. In the end though one team would have to work together to win... or maybe not. Late in the match, Kevin James Sanchez went for his Superkick on Rage but the "O'Rageous One" ducked and the kick nailed Kevin's X-Rated partner Shane. Rage then dropped Kevin with the "Rage Effect" and pulled Shane on top of him for the win.

-The next match saw two SWCW debuts, those of Aaron Neil and Se7en but the former tag partners wouldnt be teaming up tonight, as they would be going head to head. The two, obviously knew each other very well as it was a great back and forth match up. Both men showcased their trademark styles Neil with his smash-mouth offense and Se7en with his submission and martial arts attacks. At one point in the match Neil ascended the top rope but Se7en caused him to slip and crotch himself on the turnbuckle. Se7en saw his opportunity and took it as grabbed Neil and gave him a top rope DDT for the win.

-With Sheila now in full control she has set a month aside for her to revamp the company from the inside-out. SWCW will be back on August 2nd. But what changes will she make now that she has full power, will we see more new superstars? Will she be giving some superstars their walking papers? And what is the situation with the Harcore title she won on May 3rd and has yet to defend? Find out on August 2nd as SWCW returns to action.
