Jim Ross to be Grand Marshall for Loyalty Day parade in Westville

Former RAW lead announcer Jim Ross will serve as the Grand Marshall for the Loyalty Day festival in Westville, Ok, which is Ross? hometown.

Ross will be speaking at Westville High School and signing his books during a luncheon at the Library in Westville on Friday, May 5 starting at 11 AM. That night there will be a BBQ. A parade begins the next day at 10am. Ross will be crowning the Ms. Loyalty pagent winner that day as well.

All proceeds from this event go to benefit the Westville Public Library. Cost of the luncheon is $2. For more information, you can contact Sue Ann at 918-723-5002

Ross made his most recent appearance on RAW 2 weeks ago, when he sat down with Chavo Guerrero, Jr. to discuss his decision to retire from wrestling, believing he was letting down the Guerrero family name. However, in a story broken this afternoon by the Wrestling Observer, Jim Ross will be the lead announcer calling the WWE Backlash PPV tonight and is expected to return to his old job as the lead announcer for Raw, replacing Joey Styles. As noted earlier this week in the PWInsider.com Elite section, the move back to Ross had been expected to happen by the time the ECW PPV took place this June.
