Bobby Burns Blinded!

22-year veteran "Bonecrusher" Bobby Burns was the victim of a sneak attack during a match against Austin Idle Friday night, resulting in a near career-ending injury to his eyes.
Burns and Idle were set for a one-on-one match. Terry Montana came to the ring with Bobby Burns while Idle was accompanied to the ring by his partner Paul Linam. Linam brought a small sack with him, carefully concealing the contents from the referee & the fans. But during the match, the referee was distracted and Linam poured the contents of the sack (an unknown powdery substance) into his hands and threw it into the face of Bobby Burns. Burns immediately began to scream in pain and fell to the mat, allowing Austin Idle to cover him for a 3 count.
SRPW commissioner Ray Martinez, who was sitting at ringside and observed this entire occurance, immediately reversed the decision of the referee. But Bobby Burns had to be taken to the hospital. He posted a message on the SRPW message board Saturday morning, explaining that the powder that was used on him is commonly used to clean farm equipment. He went on to state that there was brief concern that he might lose the full use of his left eye, but after treatment and minor surgery on both eyes, he has regained the use of his right eye. The left is still taped up, but the prognosis is hopeful. He then challenged Austin to a "Hospital" match on Friday, March 31, where the loser of the match is the one who has to go to the hospital first.
Idle has not commented on this challenge, nor has SRPW management.
