AJ Styles offers blunt advice to wrestlers unhappy with WWE creative

AJ Styles asks wrestlers to not complain when they themselves don’t have a better idea to suggest to the WWE creatives.

During his recent appearance on What do you wanna talk about? with Cody Rhodes, Styles shared blunt advice to wrestlers unhappy with their WWE creatives.

Styles claimed that if a wrestler does not have a better idea to suggest, they should keep silent. “If you don’t have a better idea, then don’t say anything at all.

“Oh, man! Don’t complain until you have the better idea,” Styles added. “Don’t say anything you got. Nothing. It may suck, but since you didn’t come up with anything else, shut up and do the job. And it’s the writer’s job to come up with whatever storyline they want to, and it’s my job to do what they have laid out. Yeah, and perform like that’s my job.

“Sometimes their ideas are a lot better than mine, and sometimes every once in a while you might have an idea that certainly does work. But it doesn’t mean you’re gonna get it, you know. It doesn’t mean you’re gonna get to pitch it; it doesn’t mean you’re gonna get to do it,” Styles finished.

A former multi-time WWE Champion, Styles is also widely remembered for his career in TNA and NJPW. Currently retired from in-ring action, Styles was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame earlier this year.
