Several former WWE and TNA wrestlers reportedly backstage at AEW Dynamite

Several wrestling personalities from outside AEW were reportedly backstage at Akins Ford Arena in Athens, Georgia, on Wednesday night to support Tanea “Rebel” Brooks.
On Thursday, PWInsider reported that Gail Kim, Killer Kross, Dasha Gonzalez, Scarlett Bordeaux, Allysin Kay, Christy Hemme and Marti Belle were among those visiting during AEW Rebel Heart Dynamite. A large group of Rebel’s family and friends also attended the show.
The report notes that “quite a number of people” came specifically to show their support for Rebel and attend the episode held in her honor.
Rebel appeared in two segments during Wednesday’s show. She joined Britt Baker for an edition of The Waiting Room to open the episode. Rebel later came to ringside during the six-woman tag team match to give Baker the glove she uses when applying the Lockjaw. After Baker, Hikaru Shida and Persephone defeated Hyan, Maya World and Thunder Rosa, Baker sat on Rebel’s lap as they went back up the entranceway together.
