John Morrison details Bad Bunny’s commitment to WWE training
Posted: Sep 4th 2026 By: Shounak Chakribarti
A few years ago, Bad Bunny became involved with WWE and became a talking point in the promotion for his in-ring work.
Despite wrestling only a handful of matches, Bunny’s in-ring work was highly praised, as was his commitment to the sport. Previously, wrestling veteran John Morrison had opened up about Bunny’s work and recently backed it up by detailing the rapper’s commitment to training.
Recently appearing on The Wrestling Classic, Morrison shared Bad Bunny’s commitment to his WWE training. “Bad Bunny, to me, was the nicest, most humble guy ever. He doesn’t have to be because he’s such a huge star. He’s even bigger now than he was in 2021.”
“He was such a big fan of wrestling, and he wanted to make sure that he didn’t disrespect the art form. So he canceled some of his shows and made time to live in Orlando for a while so he could go to the PC and train. He earned it, man. He put the time in. He was fantastic. He was nice to everybody. I can’t say more good things about Bad Bunny,” Morrison finished.
Bunny wrestled his first WWE match at WrestleMania 37 in 2021, where he teamed up with Damian Priest to take on John Morrison and The Miz. He later took part in the 2022 WWE Royal Rumble and followed it up by having a singles bout against Priest at Backlash 2023. He has not wrestled since his 2023 Street Fight. However, there have been recent rumors about AAA bringing Bunny into their promotion.
