Shawn Michaels confirms talent transition to AAA: ‘You were a very valued prospect to us’

Shawn Michaels revealed a shift in the AAA roster with an LFG talent making his way to the promotion under The Undertaker’s leadership.

On the latest WWE LFG episode, Michaels informed Elijah Holyfield about his transition to AAA with former trainer, The Undertaker. In the program, Elijah Holyfield teamed up with Apollo Crews against Kam Hendrix and Harley Riggins. And he was updated about his wrestling future following the tag team bout.

“I think, coming in the door, you were a very valued prospect to us. I’m sure, maybe from your perspective, it has been a while.”

“Maybe you’ve had some setbacks with the injury, but an opportunity has arose for for us to get you into the game. You are going to have the opportunity to go down to AAA and show the world who Elijah Holyfield truly is.”

“You will be meeting up with your old trainer, the Undertaker. The possibilities down there are going to be unlimited for you. Congratulations, and thank you very much for always giving it your best.”

Holyfield made his WWE debut prior to an edition of NXT in 2024. Shortly after he was a part of the A&E reality show WWE LFG. During his tenure on the program, The Undertaker mentored and guided him on in-ring performances.
