Jeff Jarrett addresses potential interest in acquiring TNA: I’m happy, ‘but I love opportunities’

Posted: Jul 7th 2026 By: Vincent Verhei

Jeff Jarrett founded TNA Wrestling in 2002, resigned from the promotion in 2013, rejoined it in 2017, and left again later that same year. After all that, is there a chance he could end up running the company again?

Jarrett talked about the potential sale of TNA in an interview with Ariel Helwani. Though he made it clear he had not done much research on the subject, he left the door open for potential involvement down the road.

“Look, I’m very happy,” Jarrett said. “I did Ric Flair’s last match, that came out of nowhere. Super successful. From there, signed with AEW. The success I’ve had at AEW, I do not take that lightly. Wembley, Arthur Ashe Stadium with Adam Page. So many highlights at AEW, I’m very grateful with everything.”

“But, I love opportunities,” he continued. “I think that if the opportunity presented it right. But I have no idea. I’m very happy. I can tell you this much, at this stage of my career, I’m the oldest guy actively on the roster. I love what I do. But I’m a businessman, and it comes from three generations.”

Jarrett remains a contracted wrestler with All Elite Wrestling, but he has not wrestled for them in quite a while. His last match for the company was a loss to Claudio Castagnoli on Dynamite in January of 2025
