Sting files for new trademark with USPTO

Sting has filed for a new trademark.
According to documents available on the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office website, Sting filed to trademark “IT’S STIIIIIIIING!” with eight I’s in “Sting” and an exclamation mark at the end on Tuesday, March 3, 2026. Tony Schiavone is also listed as an owner of the trademark relating to his signature call.
Michael E. Dockins is listed as the attorney of record.
Real name Steve Borden, Sting also filed to trademark the name “Old Man Sting” on January 7, 2025 for wrestling purposes.
Sting also has trademarks listed for his signature face paint designs, his black-and-white scorpion image, and the nickname “The Icon.”
Sting’s son, Steven Borden, has begun his wrestling career. He has wrestled dark matches for AEW throughout 2026. He also competed in a couple of matches for DEFY last year and at the ACW 52W Hardway event/art exhibit in New York on October 3, 2025.
