With NXT starting fresh Sammy would benefit in NXT

Sammy was left with a bloody nose, with The Spanish God breaking his silence in comments shared on social media.
Speaking in an AEW exclusive video, Guevara was asked if he was okay after “being busted open”.
Guevara revealed that his thoughts were on things other than his injury, emotionally stating:
“Am I alright? Let me ask you, do you know what it’s like to fail at something over and over and over again? To try to climb to the top of the mountain, only to get knocked off over and over and over again?
“When you get so close to something you’ve dreamed your entire life of, only for you to slip, for it to come right out of your reach, and you have to go over and over and over and over and over and over again. Do you know what that feels like?
“That’s it, I go and bleed for this, I go and get scars for this… You don’t get it, you don’t understand. Sometimes I feel like I’m going insane, like this is a dream I’ll never reach. Like this is a dragon I’m chasing.
Vowing to become world champion to show his daughter the importance of perseverance, Guevara continued:
“Sometimes I want to quit, you don’t think I want to quit? I have tried over and over my entire life. This is all I’ve ever wanted to do, and sometimes I feel like this thing I’ve loved doesn’t love me back anymore, and I want to quit, and I want to call it a day, but I can’t.
“I can’t, because when I look at her (his daughter, Luna), I see a little girl that one day, she’s going to have hard times just like her dad, and she’s going to come to me wanting to quit, and I’m going to hand her a world championship, and I’m going to tell her we don’t quit.
“We get up when we fall down, we try again, and we get it done. So one day, somehow, some way, Sammy Guevara is going to be a world champion. It’s a new year, 2026, right? A new year, new me? No, it’s a new year, the same destiny. I will be world champion.”
An AEW original, Guevara is no stranger to championship gold since signed with the company, having been a three-time TNT Champion.
In AEW’s sister company, he is the current ROH World Tag Team Champion alongside The Beast Mortos, having also held that title three times.
My 2 cents
Sammy keeps getting left out of the AEW main roster he’s good in the ring and he’s ok on the mic. I just think He would benefit greatly from NXT. See AEW is ok but when it comes to a talent like Sammy I think with the right direction and creative he can be very successful in NXT.
