NWA Tag Team of the Year Knox & Murdoch

The people have spoken, & the results are in for the 2025 NWA Year End Awards! Voted on by fans on the NWA X Account, the NWA faithful determined which superstars’ names were etched in National Wrestling Alliance history.

Making History Together
It seemed almost a foregone conclusion fans would choose Knox & Murdoch as 2025’s “Tag Team of the Year.”

The powerhouse pairing unseated Aron Stevens’ Blunt Force Trauma for the NWA World Tag Team titles on June 2, 2024. Before dropping the straps to 2025 Crockett Cup winners The Immortals at NWA 77, Knox & Murdoch logged 17 months with the belts.

This year was but a continuation of the duo’s tag team dominance. Their stranglehold on NWA started in earnest back in 2023, when they captured The Crockett Cup.

With Knox currently sidelined with an arm injury, the team’s future is unknown. However, “Knoxy” at his side, two-time NWA Worlds Champ Murdoch remains a solo force in the National Wrestling Alliance…and, now as 2025 “NWA Tag Team of the Year,” their growing list of accomplishments together can never be erased.
