Justin Lee & Timmy J finally settle their score

Justin Lee & Timmy J finally settle their score

Posted: Mar 7th 2006 By: oklastaff

Since September of 2005, Justin Lee and Timmy J have been at each other?s throats in TPW. Each was determined to show that the other was not the better man and their issue seems to have finally been resolved as of last Saturday night.

Timmy entered TPW after abandoning his tag team partner Cade Sydal in SRPW. He immediately targeted Justin Lee, claiming that he had heard about Justin?s reputation and wanted to prove himself by putting Justin out. That part of his plan was accomplished temporarily when Timmy teamed with his uncle, former OPW Oklahoma Champion Bernard Funk, and gave Justin a spike piledriver. That same night saw former TPW Oklahoma Champion Rocco Valentino take 2 piledrivers, which put him on the shelf and threatened his career.

Both Rocco & Justin returned at the beginning of 2006 and gained a measure of revenge on the members of Texas, Inc. But matters still weren\'t settled between Justin and Timmy and, after a wild brawl on Feb 11, where Justin def. Timmy by DQ, TPW commissioner Kitty announced a Broken Arrow Street Fight between the 2.

This match may have been Justin?s creation, but it wasn?t outside the experience of Timmy, who is a former SRPW Hardcore Champion. And when these 2 met on Mar 4, the ring quickly became littered with weapons of destruction. Both men bled and suffered multiple injuries, but continued to fight on as long as their bodies would take it. In the end, Timmy narrowly avoided getting to his feet before the count of 10, which gave Justin the victory.

Neither wrestler has commented about the match, but it is this reporter?s considered opinion that they will not be participating in such a drastic type of event anytime soon.

Bernard Funk and Rocco Valentino hope to settle their issue this coming Saturday in a Bull Rope Match.
