New champions crowned on WWE Raw

New champions were crowned in the opening match of Monday’s WWE Raw from Sacramento, California.
AJ Styles and Dragon Lee were successful in their World Tag Team title challenge against Finn Balor and JD McDonagh of The Judgment Day, winning the gold in Raw’s kickoff bout on Monday.
Both teams survived the other’s finishers as Dragon Lee saved Styles from a pinfall after Balor landed a Coup de Grace, and Balor survived a Phenomenal Forearm from Styles when McDonagh made the save. Ultimately the bout ended after Styles hit the Styles Clash on Balor and got the pin.
Balor and McDonagh held the World Tag Team Championship for 112 days over their second reign as a duo.
Dragon Lee is now a Tag Team Champion in WWE for the first time in his career. Styles previously held tag team gold with Omos in 2021.
