NEWS
Former WWE manager Zeb Colter has claimed that WWE had to bring The Undertaker back on “NXT” because of the TV show’s poor ratings. On “UnSKripted”, Zeb said "Well I heard that the ratings were so bad for it that they finally brought Undertaker out. And I think, what's that guy's name, Trick (Williams), for NXT? They brought The Undertaker out and announced it on TV that he is gonna make an appearance on it."

Recent additions to the WWE Vault include a Summer Games Relay Match that has Charlie Haas, John Cena, & Rob Van Dam taking on Booker T, Rene Dupree, & Luther Reigns.

Moose is a huge admirer of Oba Femi, hailing the NXT Champion as a true “generational talent.” Having faced Femi at “NXT Roadblock” and crossed paths with him in the ring on a few other occasions, Moose opened up about his respect for Femi during an interview with Denise Salcedo. Here are some of the highlights from the interview: On Oba Femi: “Oh, man, I can say so many great things about Oba. He’s definitely going to go down as a generational guy. I’m glad that I was given the opportunity by WWE to have that match with him. I hope I’ve made it memorable for all the Moose fans and all the staff and coaches there in WWE, but I enjoyed that match also. It was definitely a learning experience for me, because it taught me how WWE does things, and it’s so different than how TNA does things and how TNA builds their matches.” On their match: “So it was definitely a learning experience for me, and it was also a learning experience for Oba because he did a couple of shows and he made a couple of stops in TNA. He saw how we did things. Which I’m sure he could tell you, is a little bit different than how they do things there. So, I’m happy that we had great chemistry. I’m happy that we delivered, and I felt like we over-delivered, because people didn’t realize how good this match was going to be until it was over. From everything I saw, we got high praise for it. So yeah, hopefully we get to lock horns again, and hopefully it will be a different outcome if we do.”

In a video published to his YouTube channel, Karrion Kross confirmed that his contract with WWE expired on August 10th. While speaking on “Wrestling Observer Radio”, Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com stated the following in regards to the situation: “It’s one of those things. I mean, it’s definitely being kept quiet. It’s a weird one. There’s way, way, way too much talk, and the nature of the talk makes me think there’s more to it. What’s he saying — that they gave him an insulting offer? I mean, they gave him an offer and he didn’t sign. As of this week, he may be a free agent. I know that he’s doing a lot of media right now because his book came out on Tuesday. The people who are doing interviews with him are being told — and it’s not WWE sending him on this media tour, it’s ECW Press — that they cannot ask any questions regarding his contract situation or WWE. In his interviews, he talks about his life, not the WWE part of his life all that much. The belief in WWE is that he’s going to be back, but we’ll see. They’re not telling anyone anything, and everyone’s pretty skeptical. Are they working the boys on this if he comes back? You could say yes, but it’s not like anyone is being fooled. Nobody is saying, ‘Oh no, he’s really gone.’ They’re just like, ‘We don’t know, whatever.’ We figure he’s going to be back, and we kind of figure it’s an angle — but we don’t really know. So that’s kind of where it stands.” Meltzer said the following about Kross taking bookings: “If they’re doing a work, they’ll do bookings. You know what I mean? If they’re doing it, you would do bookings — you would do stuff to make it look real. If it’s an angle, which is what most people think this is, then you still have to take bookings. If you don’t, and you just go to TNA, everyone’s going to go, ‘Ah, you’re going to TNA, that’s bullshit.’ So they have to do some indies. Now, if they go to AEW, then it’s real. Look at what Heyman said on ‘The Ariel Helwani Show’ just the other day. There was a comparison to Steve Austin — you don’t say that about a guy who [WWE President] Nick Khan is just going to give a bad offer to and not really try to sign. Those two things don’t add up.”

Regarding Google searches over the weekend of August 9th & 10th, the only pro wrestling mention was Karrion Kross at over 10,000.

In response to a post by Karrion Kross, Braun Strowman wrote: “You know they (WWE) don’t care about the fans!!!!! They care about nepotism ass kisser’s and there buddies!!!!”. In response to a fan who wondered why he was cut, Strowman responded: “’Cause someone made a stupid business decision!!!!”.

Bully Ray pitched a bold idea for Karrion Kross saying, "This guy should take it upon himself, him and Scarlett Bordeaux, to get on a plane every Monday and go to every single arena that the WWE is performing in… Be in the parking lot, having people sign a petition that says, 'We want Kross.'" He suggested Kross promote these appearances on social media, rent a van, and meet fans in the parking lot before “WWE Monday Night RAW” to gather thousands of signatures. Once the petition has enough support, Bully said Kross should film himself delivering it to WWE’s headquarters. As Bully put it, "That's how I'd create my own lightning in a bottle. That's how I'd show them."

Jim Ross commented on Vince McMahon's appearance on TMZ: "I thought he looked horrible. I thought he looked tired, withdrawn, and it had me concerned. Whoever did his makeup should be fired. He just looked withdrawn and so old... his eyes tell a big story... to me that he looked tired and a little frustrated." Ross also pointed out specific details that caught his eye, "The hair thing was one, one issue that caught my eye, having his eyebrows colored, another thing that caught my eye."
