Crazy Charlie, The Original Oklahoma Outlaw, Outlaw, and Roc-N-Roll Cowboy were all inducted into the SWCW Hall of Fame at the UWO event on October 13th.

The first trailer of “The Iron Claw”, the movie based on the true story of the Von Erich Brothers, was published last week by A24. The movie features Zac Efron as Kevin Von Erich, Jeremy Allen White as Kerry Von Erich, Harris Dickinson as David Von Erich, Holt McCallany as Fritz Von Erich, Maura Tierney as Doris Von Erich, and Lily James as Pam, the wife of Kevin Von Erich. The synopsis of the movie reads, "The true story of the inseparable Von Erich brothers, who made history in the intensely competitive world of professional wrestling in the early 1980s. Through tragedy and triumph, under the shadow of their domineering father and coach, the brothers seek larger-than-life immortality on the biggest stage in sports." The movie is written and directed by Sean Durkin and is released in theaters nationwide on December 22. You can see the trailer by clicking here..

Marshall Von Erich reacted to the trailer for “The Iron Claw” saying "I knew it wouldn’t be 100% accurate because my Dad wasn’t Involved but those of you that know our family know that God played a major role in our story. Still excited about it and think it can help a lot of people that are suffering from loss. They nailed the wardrobe tho"

Pictures circulated on social media of Bill Goldberg being in downtown Tulsa the day that WWE SmackDown was in town, but he did not appear on the show.

Nick Aldis was introduced by Triple H as the new SmackDown General Manager on Friday on the blue brand’s season premiere in Tulsa. The GM role was brought back and Triple H also appointed Adam Pearce as the RAW GM, saying that he’s done a “thankless job” overseeing both shows for the past three years. “The opportunity of a lifetime. Thank you @TripleH @WWE,” wrote Aldis on X after the show. “Onwards and upwards for the blue brand!” His wife, Mickie James, told him that she loves him and she was really happy right now. “Can we celebrate already?! Ps…Aldis Family Business just picked up,” she added. Aldis’ first order of business was to introduce Kevin Owens who was traded to SmackDown after Jey Uso went to RAW. Aldis, a former NWA and TNA World Champion, has never worked an on-screen character with WWE before and actually never worked for WWE at all before this past August. Aldis was doing a producer job on both RAW and SmackDown.

Paul Heyman posted on X "The @WWE #Smackdown @WWEonFOX #SeasonPermiere scored huge, as the Return of @WWERomanReigns delivered (1) the highest grossing TV event in the history of the Tulsa market; (2) highest paid attendance in the history of the #Tulsa market. Thank you for the house, my #TribalChief!"

SmackDown’s season premiere episode from Tulsa averaged 2.33 million viewers in the fast national ratings, up from last week’s fast national average of 2.20 million. The rating in the 18-49 demo was a 0.6.

Karrion Kross has been absent from WWE TV since his feud with A. J. Styles ended. He recently posted this on X: “Some will believe that it’s corruption by proximity… Something so malicious that it changes everything around it. Others will see the truth: It was there all along. Buried underneath layers upon layers of convoluted lies. It just needed a little push. Can you see it yet?”
