Multiple Challengers Target MajCW Champion Nashoba During Summer Rez Tour
Posted: Jun 26th 2023 By: Michael Hunt
Titles put targets on champions' backs. Every wrestler knows that. Every wrestler is prepared for that. But sometimes they forget that targets can be attacked by multiple adversaries.
When Nashoba defeated Al Farat for the MajCW Title at the end of January, he knew he had gained what everyone wanted. And 4 months later, when MajCW returned to Holdenville, Nashoba came out for the rematch that the former champion demanded. But instead of seeing the Crimson Prince arrive through the curtain, what the Chicksaw Wolf witnessed was the arrival of his vizier, Mohammad burn Ham. Burn Ham stepped into the ring and announced that Al Farat could not be in Holdenville that night, as he had returned to the Holy Land of Mecca to receive a humanitarian award. He indicated that when Farat returned, he would challenge for the title, but it would not be that night. Nashoba then mentioned that burn Ham seemed like a man alone, as he was standing in the ring with no back up. And an angry champion, with no apparent need to watch his back, decided to take some frustration out on the manager.
But burn Ham is not a man without connections. He has been around this business for over 15 years and has a strong reach and a persuasive tongue. So as soon as Nashoba grabbed Burnham and drew back his fist to lay a blow onto his bearded face, from behind struck the combined membership of the ASP, EPW & WAH Tag Team Champions, The Psychotic Messengers. Under the guidance of their manager, Lucian Loveless, Malachi & Tank Bryson laid waste to the young champion until his partner, Sheriff Schultz, came to the rescue.
At that point, MajCW commissioner Colby Cheese declared that an impromptu tag team match was going to take place. And before leaving the ringside area, burn Ham and Loveless could seen conversing near the entrance way. But Mohammad left and the match was on. Native Law and the Psychotic Messengers have a similar level of experience and each had their moments of success in the match, but it was the unexpected return of Mohammad burn Ham to ringside that seemed to tip the scales. The Messengers became much more aggressive as burn Ham argued with the referee. But Native Law refused to quit, kicking out of high-impact, double team maneuvers and continuing to fight. Sensing that victory might be slipping from their grasp, burn Ham threw his cane to Malachi who used and caused a disqualification. But the beating was just commencing. After disposing of Schultz, the Messengers left the champion laid out in the middle of the ring as burn Ham stood over the fallen champion, declaring that Al Farat would soon return and lay claim to what was rightfully his.
Everyone thought that the Prince would make his return at MajCW's debut in Wetumka. And those beliefs were furthered when Al Farat was seen in a video posted on the MajCW Facebook page showing a chance encounter between Farat and MajCW co-commissioner J. R. Wind. Wind seemed very friendly towards Farat and their relationship was called into question by MajCW owner Oscar Amazing at the Wetumka event. But once again, Farat was not present and Mohammad burn Ham spoke on his behalf, indicating that the Prince would not lower himself to enter a town like Wetumka. And that until Wetumka took what burn Ham felt were proper steps to show class and respect to him, including making the women cover their faces and prohibit the children from attending the events, Farat would NEVER step into the confines of their town.
Nashoba seemed unconcerned about this as he was to face Marce Lewis that night. Their match was a highlight reel of high-flying styles and the audience was incredibly impressed, even chanting "This is Awesome!" on occasion. Towards the beginning of the match, burn Ham came out and stood at ringside, clearly scouting at least one of the competitors. But he made no movement towards the ring other than that and took a seat near the announce table to watch the majority of that match. Nevertheless, his presence was still felt when once again, the Psychotic Messengers, who were not even booked on the card, ran out and attacked both men, ending the match. Nashoba once again found himself in the middle of the ring, looking up at Al Farat's associate. And burn Ham made it clear. The Prince WAS coming back. And he wanted his MajCW Title upon his return.
In an interesting twist, Farat's return does not seem to be leading him to the title he considers so precious. WAH Hunger Dojo Champion The Luchador challenged Farat at the Wetumka event and Oscar Amazing signed that match for MajCW's debut in Henryetta on July 7th. More importantly, after the Psychotic Messengers cleared the ring, EPW Heavyweight, CPW Tag Team and MajCW Flawless Champion Logan Knight came to the ring. He announced that MajCW management had decreed that if anyone made 6 successful Flawless title defences, they could redeem the Flawless Title for MajCW Heavyweight Championship match. Knight announced that he was cashing that opportunity in and would face Nashoba for the title at MajCW's event in Henryetta as well. So Nashoba now has challenges coming at him from multiple different angles. A true warrior knows his reputation is made under fire. For Nashoba, he hopes to conquer that proving ground and survive the summer with his title intact.
