James Storm Would Be Up For A Beer Money Reunion Under A Triple H-Led WWE

If Triple H is keen to reboot Robert Roode, this might be the perfect way to do that.
When Triple H was named head of creative, and Vince McMahon retired a few hours later, fans were warned to dial back their expectations. While a Triple H-led WWE is something many have dreamed about for years, it seemed unlikely that The Game would wade in and undo everything his father-in-law had cooking at the time. That has been the case to an extent, but on the other hand, Triple H has already made some big changes.
A Beer Money Reunion In WWE
Changes that are effectively messages to McMahon that he didn't agree with some of his decisions. Most notably the re-signing of Dakota Kai, and return of Karrion Kross, this time with Scarlett as he arguably always should have been. While not released, Bleacher Report's Graham Matthews is hopeful Robert Roode is another wrestler McMahon didn't appear keen on who Triple H does right by now he's in charge.
In fact, Matthews has a specific plan for Roode he hopes to see unfold. “If I'm Triple H, I'm starting to rebuild the tag team division by hiring James Storm, putting him with Bobby Roode and reuniting Beer Money,” Matthews tweeted. While it's unclear how Roode and Triple H feel about that idea, Storm has already chimed in to let all parties involved know that he'd be on board.
James Storm Is In
“Never say never but highly unlikely but it would be fun graham with some of those tag teams,” Storm tweeted in reply. The non-WWE half of Beer Money has flirted with the company in the past, wrestling two matches in NXT all the way back in 2015. More recently Storm has been competing for Impact and was also a competitor in the Bunkhouse Battle Royal during the Ric Flair's Last Match event.
As for Roode, his most recent work was alongside Dolph Ziggler as one-half of The Dirty Dogs. Ziggler has since returned to TV without Roode, suggesting the team has now split. Triple H's focus appears to be the women's division right now, but if there are similar plans to rebuild the tag division too, getting Storm in to reunite Beer Money with Roode would be a terrific idea.
