Sammy Guevara vs. Darby Allin announced for AEW Dynamite
Posted: Feb 12th 2022 By: Bryan Rose
A TNT title match, along with two other matches, have been announced for Dynamite this coming Wednesday.
Sammy Guevara will defend the TNT Championship against Darby Allin. Two other matches, Bryan Danielson vs. Lee Moriarty and Wardlow vs. Max Caster in a Face of the Revolution ladder match qualifier were also announced tonight on Rampage.
Allin made the save for Guevara following a title defense against Isiah Kassidy on last week’s Rampage. After the two cleared the ring, Allin slapped the titles that Guevara held, indicating he wanted a shot in the future.
On tonight’s Rampage, Matt Sydal confronted Danielson, upset that Danielson recently mentioned Moriarty’s name as part of a potential stable between Danielson and Jon Moxley. Moriaty cut in between the two, saying he didn’t like the two talking about him like he wasn’t right in front of them. Danielson said he liked that someone stepped up and left.
The winner between Wardlow and Caster will be added to the Face of the Revolution ladder match that will take place at Revolution on March 5. Keith Lee was the first to qualify on Wednesday, defeating Kassidy.
Already announced for Dynamite is Chris Jericho and Jake Hager vs. Santana and Ortiz and a No DQ match between Thunder Rosa and Mercedes Martinez.
