Nick Aldis vs. Trevor Murdoch World title rematch headlining NWA 73

NWA World Champion Nick Aldis will take on Trevor Murdoch in a rematch as the headliner for NWA 73 on August 29th.

The Sunday pay-per-view is the second of two straight PPVs for the NWA in St. Louis as they run the all-women's Empower show the night before.

Murdoch earned the shot as his team won the recent Champions Series that gave the winning team seven title opportunities. Murdoch was screwed out of winning the title at June's When Our Shadows Fall, losing by DQ after the referee saw Murdoch hit Aldis with a chair after Aldis had originally hit the referee with one.
