Adam Thornstowe announced on Twitter "Reno SCUM’s time with Impact Wrestling has come to an end. I’m nothing but thankful for everything they did for us. I wanna thank the staff and producers, and especially the talent. It is undoubtedly one of the most talented locker rooms in the world. Until we see ya again… Oi Oi Oi! We will be ok. Please continue to support them. These are interesting times in wrestling and we plan on staying relevant after we re-group. Again, nothing but thankful to everyone there. It’s hard to put into words, but please know there is nothing but love.”

On April 6th, Jeff Jarrett marked his 35th anniversary in pro wrestling. He posted on Twitter "35 years ago today, April 6 of 1986, I started the official journey of my in-ring career. My grandmother, Christine Jarrett, started our family in the industry in 1946… Very grateful for all the opportunities past, present and future this business has provided me!" His first pro match was a 10-minute draw against Tony Falk on April 6, 1986 in his father Jerry Jarrett's fed Continental Wrestling Association but had started as a referee in CWA the month before. In his career he is a 10-time World Champion (WCW and NWA combined), a former WWF Intercontinental Champion, and a member of both the TNA and WWE Halls of Fame.

According to The Miz, when he and John Morrison painted on Bad Bunny's $3 million Bugatti, they used real paint. On " The Fighter & The Kid" podcast, The Miz said “We had a camera guy there and a couple of people watching around and they’re like, ‘You’re not really going to do something to that Bugatti are you?’ It’s a $3.6 million car. No, it’s getting paint on it. That was real paint. My hand was stained red for two days. People were like, ‘It’s ketchup.’ No, that was real paint. People were like, ‘were you nervous?’ No, I wanted to destruct his car, I destructed his car. It was fun because I finger paint with my daughter all the time and us construction paper that costs 10 cents. I got to finger paint on a $3.6 million canvas and sign it. I don’t think many people can do that.”

WWE aired their Hall of Fame induction show on Tuesday. Because the 2020 induction ceremony was postponed due to COVID-19, the induction ceremony was for both 2020 and 2021. The inductees for the "Legacy Wing" in 2020 were Gary Hart, Ray Stevens, Brickhouse Brown, Steve Williams, and Michele Leone. Molly Holly has had an impact on several women in the world of professional wrestling, but none may have a story with more impact than Beth Phoenix. Beth’s journey to becoming a professional wrestler found her meeting Molly at WrestleMania 18 in 2002, revealing their encounter changed her life for the good and gave her a lift in the pursuit of her dream. Recently, Phoenix revealed that at that meeting she gave Molly a VHS tape of one of her matches and a photo and Molly took the tape immediately to Dr. Tom Prichard and the two wound up studying it. Despite not getting hired after a tryout months later, Phoenix found herself traveling to Ohio Valley Wrestling where not only did she get advice from the Molly, but Molly eventually helped her pay her way through training with the then developmental territory for the WWE. “Molly introduced me to Nick Dinsmore, who said, ‘You know what, if you really want to take this seriously, you’ve got to move to OVW. You’ve got to move to Kentucky. I’d like to get you a tryout with Danny Davis.’ Danny invited me to come to OVW. I was not getting signed, let’s be clear. He was offering me an opportunity to come train at OVW, so there was tuition involved. I had no money, and I had school loans, but I was like, “I’m going to figure it out.” I dropped everything and moved to Kentucky. I went to give Danny my first payment, and Danny handed me a receipt back for a much larger amount. I said, ‘You made a mistake here, Danny.’ He said, ‘No I didn’t. A little birdie believes in you and wants to help pay your way.” Molly had paid for my tuition.” Molly Holly has a list of stories about her kindness and generosity throughout her career, and in the case of this one, it seems like her generosity set up the success of a woman who she now joins in the WWE Hall of Fame.
