Sammy Guevara leaves The Inner Circle on AEW Dynamite

Sammy Guevara left the Inner Circle tonight following an angle that took place on Dynamite.

Guevara left the group following a confrontation that took place on the show. After Jericho and MJF defeated the Acclaimed, Guevara came out and told Jericho that he said he would leave if one more thing happened between him and MJF, and it happened tonight.. He officially declared himself out of the group and left.

When Alex Marvez caught up with Guevara following the commercial break, he told Marvez that he needed time away from AEW, and left the arena.

Guevara, who has been wary of MJF ever since he and Wardlow joined the group, confronted him backstage earlier in the show and told him that he knew that MJF wanted to take over the Inner Circle. MJF told Guevara that he thought that Guevara hated Jericho and that Guevara wanted to take over the group. He accused Guevara of hating Chris Jericho. Guevara responded by asking if MJF wanted him to say that he hated Jericho.

After MJF said that was exactly what he wanted to hear, it was revealed that MJF had been recording their conversation. Guevara responded by punching MJF in the stomach. MJF sold the gut punch and later told Jericho right as they were about to enter the ring that Guevara had attacked him.
