WWE's Sarah Logan and Raymond Rowe Welcome Son Raymond Cash After 44-Hour Labor: 'Worth Every Second'
Posted: Feb 11th 2021 By: Benjamin VanHoose
Sarah Logan and Raymond Rowe have a tiny new wrestler in their ring!
The pair, who tied the knot in December 2018, have welcomed their first child together, son Raymond Cash Rowe, they announced on Instagram Tuesday.
Logan, 27, a former WWE star, and Rowe, 36, a Superstar known as Erik in the ring, say the newborn weighed 8 lbs., 11 oz., and measured 21.75 inches long.
On Instagram, the new mom wrote, "After 44 hrs of labor. He was worth every second," while sharing a photo of herself in the delivery room with the newborn sweetly resting on her chest.
Rowe, on his page, shared a close-up photograph of the baby swaddled, echoing: "After 44hrs of labor both mama and baby are happy and safe. He's perfect."
The baby came past his due date — but Logan said on Instagram last month that that didn't surprise her. "I do plan on waiting until Cash is good and ready to come out on his own time," she wrote on Jan. 25, sharing a pic of her baby bump.
Then on Feb. 1 she updated: "41 Weeks! Can't say I'm shocked that Cash is taking his time because it's EXACTLY how his dad is! The Rowes never move fast, because no one makes them move fast. It is known. All good little dude, as long as we both remain healthy I will let ya stay as long as ya like.
Logan and Rowe revealed their pregnancy news on YouTube in July. "I'm so excited, which is news for me. I honestly did not want to have kids before I met Ray Rowe. No one had ignited that motherly instinct in me. It just wasn't something I thought was for me," Logan said in the video at the time.
"I was that girl that was like, 'I don't want kids. I don't need kids.' Then I met Ray and almost immediately, I was like, 'I want to create something with this man. I want more than we have — I want everything. I want marriage, I want to live together, I want kids,' " she added. "And to have that right now, it's overwhelming. Just to know that I'm gonna give him something no one else has and no one else will is beautiful."
Also at that time, Rowe predicted what it would be like to hold his child for the first time.
"It's hard to imagine holding your child for the first time," he said. "Sometimes it doesn't feel real — it still feels like it's just a concept, not a reality. But every day, I can kinda see that little baby bump getting bigger. It becomes harder to leave every time. ... All I want to do is just go home and be next to her and be taking care of her and making sure she's got everything she needs and anything she wants."
Logan correctly predicted the sex of her baby on the way in the July video, saying, "I could be completely wrong but I feel like it's a boy and I feel so happy that this is happening."
Marking her pregnancy progression at 39 weeks, Logan shared a photo on Instagram standing with Rowe while showing off her bare baby bump as her dog licked her belly. "Very happy to make it to this milestone and perfectly happy to stay pregnant as long as Cash needs me to be," she wrote in the Jan. 18 post. "As you can tell Roach already loves being a big sister."
