Former WCW/WWF Star Butch Reed dead at 66

Former WCW Tag Team Champion Butch Reed has passed away age 66. Butch, real name Bruce, suffered two heart attacks earlier this year and was battling health concerns in the aftermath. His passing was confirmed via Instagram.
"To everyone who reached out god bless you. Today we lost a great man. Due to heart complications Bruce 'Butch' Reed passed away. Butch is in heaven now with the wrestling god's. I am sure he is already booked for a Heavyweight Championship match. Once again thank you for all the prayers. We will keep this page going in his memory. Managed by Teddy Long, he and Ron Simmons defeated The Steiner Brothers for the WCW World Tag Team Championships in 1989. They would hold the titles for an amazing 281 days, setting a record that stood until WCW’s demise in 2001.
