Bruce Prichard Gets Backstage Heat Surrounding Christmas Gifts To Creative Team

While the intentions were good, the delivery was poor.
Bruce Prichard finds himself once again developing heat with people within the WWE and it has to do with the circumstances surrounding Christmas gifts given to the team. Now before you assume it sounds petty and selfish, this report from Ringside News should help elaborate.
As we all know, WWE’s third party ban has proven not to apply to Bruce Prichard. He remains active on his Something To Wrestle With podcast, a point of frustration with many people. Now what this has to do with the Christmas gifts given, we’ll dive into that right now. The gift didn’t rub anyone the wrong way, it was the delivery of the gift.
Prichard surprised the writing team with Amazon gift cards, but the gift cards were given in envelopes with the logo of his Something To Wrestle With podcast. Perhaps it wasn’t intentional, it certainly reminded people he was above the third party ban which upset several people since the hammer came down over it late last year.
Many members of the writing team saw the use of Christmas cards and envelopes from the podcast as inappropriate. It wasn’t the gift, or even the amount of it, but the wrapping. Many people saw this as Prichard promoting his third party venture, which clearly upset people.
A source told the site “He sends something promoting his outside venture when people like Zelina were fired four outside ventures? And he’s our leader?”
Many people felt he should’ve used a WWE logo or no logo on the envelopes. And while the gift was appreciated, it was the packaging of the card that certainly left a bitter taste in the mouth of many people.
