Chris Jericho Says He Could Get Jim Cornette A Job If He Would “Shut The F**K Up”

Wrestling legend Chris Jericho has taken to Twitter and called out Jim Cornette In a now deleted tweet for “burying” AEW over the past year. Jim Cornette is a very controversial figure in the wrestling industry, he has a wealth of experience, working for both WWE and WCW but he is known for making very insensitive comments. He is very outspoken when it comes to AEW, often stating his dislike for them on his podcast.
Although the tweet has since been deleted, you can see the comments from ‘Le Champion’ below:
“Heard Jim Cornette is still burying me for my work in AEW. All good because my stuff has been amazing and a huge money maker for my company. But the best part is, if he would just shut the fuck up & pull his head out of his ass, we would probably offer him a consultant job.”
Jim Cornette was sent a screenshot of the deleted tweet and responded with the following statement:
“Since @IAmJericho deleted this tweet, you gotta read it here. Chris, I’ll tell ya same thing I told Tony a year & a half ago–I’m the only one who’ll tell you the truth cause I don’t WANT a job. After I’ve actually SEEN your show, there hasn’t been enough money printed to hire me.”
A fan asked Jericho about the ordeal on Twitter and he replied:
“I wish nothing but the best for Jim. But I’m too busy creating magic and entertaining the world to worry about what a grumpy old man thinks. He’s entitled to his opinion and I’m entitled to mine. And that is this….@AEW rules!!”
Chris Jericho is very outspoken, when it comes to his passion for AEW, weather it is against diehard NXT and WWE fans who criticise the product, or even against prominent figures in the industry like Jim Cornette. ‘Le Demo God’ is clearly proud of his work in AEW, and of the company as a whole.
As for Jim Cornette, it is safe to say he won’t be working for AEW anytime soon.
