Bray Wyatt Blames Goldberg For His Old Tribal Tattoo`

Bray Wyatt will face Goldberg at Super ShowDown and is using the tribal tattoo he has on his arm as inspiration for the match.

Bray Wyatt has been on a tear ever since he debuted as The Fiend. No Superstar he has come up against has been able to figure out a way to stop him. So much so that last year at Crown Jewel, Wyatt won the Universal Championship. The conjecture was that The Fiend would finally meet his match at WrestleMania, but now fans aren't so sure.

Goldberg returned on SmackDown this week to reveal who he will be facing at Super ShowDown. The Hall of Famer stated that since Brock Lesnar is tied up with Drew McIntyre on Raw, he's going to turn his attention to the Universal Title. That's when Wyatt interrupted via an episode of Firefly Funhouse News.

Goldberg didn't stick around for long, telling Wyatt his mind games won't work on him and that he's "next". Someone like Goldberg coming after your title is likely inspiration enough for The Fiend to take down the former WCW Champion, but Wyatt has revealed another reason he dislikes his upcoming opponent on Twitter. A tribal tattoo on his left arm that has since been covered up.

"Goldberg was directly responsible for this!" Wyatt wrote on Twitter shortly after his interaction with the veteran on SmackDown. During Goldberg's heyday, the smaller tribal tattoo he has on his arm became synonymous with his wrestling character and was effectively his logo as it appeared on his entrance video and merchandise. Wyatt is claiming his younger self was inspired to get ink similar to Goldberg's 15 to 20 years ago.

Wyatt had to use a pretty old photo of himself to show off the tribal tattoo which has since been covered up. Astute fans have put the pieces together and discovered the pic Wyatt posted is actually a zoomed-in one of him as Husky Harris. The tattoos covering that allegedly Goldberg-inspired tribal piece are far more in-keeping with Wyatt's current character and The Fiend.
