Trey Cole Interview
Posted: Oct 10th 2016 By: Lance Osburn
To start, go ahead and tell everyone a little about yourself.
My name is Trey “Stonewall” Cole and I am from Claremore Oklahoma. I have been working for 2 years here in Oklahoma for WFC, UWE, SRPW, and Compound Pro Wrestling.
So why wrestling? What made you want to get into this business?
Well I’ve been a fan for as long as I can remember, but we (me and my brother) saw some guys working (Yarders) and we got invited to work with them. After that we just wanted to prove we could be the best there.
So from there how did you get into the Professional side of the business?
Well from after working backyard for a while I found the fed Steel Rage Pro Wrestling (SRPW). Once we got our foot in the door I trained for about 3 months before I worked my first show.
Tell me about your first match. What are some highlights you remember?
My first match was a tag team match with my brother Ethan Cole at SRPW. I don’t remember who our opponents were but we got our first Pro win that night! I remember Ethan hitting the spear and I covered the guy for the win! It was a great feeling!
What are some of your career highlights?
'
Some career highlights would definitely be winning the SRPW U.S. Title and the SRPW Tag Team Titles with my brother!
So who were some people you looked up to?
Eddie Guerrero number 1! Then Scott Hall, Shawn Michaels, and Triple H.
If you could work anyone, past or present, who would you choose? What is your dream match?
That’s an easy one! Eddie Guerrero would be my dream match!
What are some future goals that you have set for yourself?
I would love to travel but I just don’t see that as an option for me. So my future goals would be to hold a major title in Oklahoma.
Do you have any final remarks? Anything you would like for people to know?
This is the most fun thing I’ve ever done! Being out in the ring if a one of a kind feeling, and getting a reaction from the crowd is the best part about it!
