Federations
Steel Rage Pro Wrestling
Steel Rage Pro Wrestling was formed in 2002 by Sarah Harmon and a dedicated group of wrestlers and crew who abandoned the crumbling Oklahoma Championship Wrestling. Using a family friendly approach, the federation promoted heavily at shows that were safe for kids to attend in such venues as Salvation Army Boys & Girls Clubs and Indoor Fun Fairs. Several wrestlers that starred in Oklahoma federations like Oklahoma Championship Wrestling, Oklahoma Pro Wrestling, and World Wrestling Empire also appeared in SRPW matches. SRPW built the organization around the strengths of these veterans like Luc Lapointe, Dexter Hardaway, & Brandon Groom and young new superstars like X-Cal, Cade Sydal & Kenny Campbell, while also grooming new superstars for the future like Timmy J, Pork Chop, and Dirty Harry Sanchez. On Aug 4, 2006, SRPW closed down after members of P.I.N.K. Nation defeated representatives of SRPW in a War Games-style match for control of the company. SRPW was reactivated on June 11, 2011 after one of the owners of Main Event Reality Combat (MERC) purchased the SRPW name, title belts, and ring from Sarah Harmon and reopened the company. They also reinstated Bobby Burns as Heavyweight Champion because he was the last Heavyweight Champion when the company was owned by Harmon. Before finding a permanent home at Main Event Center in Sapulpa, SRPW ran shows in Tulsa, Mounds and Bristow. In July 2013, SRPW moved to the Oakhurst Fire Department in Oakhurst. Their last event was October 29, 2016. They did come back for one show in October 2019 and again in March 2022.
