NEWS
The recently re-signed John Morrison has reported to the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida to shrug off any ring rust he might have accumulated over the past couple of months. “There’s another place in Orlando that claims to be the happiest place on earth. But they don’t have 6 sweet @wwe rings like the @wwepc,” Morrison wrote in a post on Instagram. The former Impact champion posted a few photos and videos of him training in the ring as he awaits his official call to show up on Raw or Smackdown…or NXT. Morrison described the PC as “epic” and said he couldn’t imagine a better place to get used to the WWE ring again. “8 years since I’ve been in a @WWE ring. Real ropes ain’t the same as the cables I’ve been doing my stuff on since I’ve been away,” he added. Morrison signed a new multi-year contract with WWE earlier this month. He has not wrestled inside a WWE ring since 2011.

Gary Michael Cappetta did ring announcing at the Night of Appreciation for Bobby Eaton show. Jim Cornette handled the ceremony which included taped messages from Road Warrior Animal, Teddy Long, Luke Williams, The Steiner Brothers, Nikita Koloff, Raven, Enzo Amore, The Rock & Roll Express, The Revival and Steve Austin. Austin said he was the biggest Eaton fan, said Eaton was the best and that he taught him so much. In the 80s, Eaton was always considered as one of the elite in-ring wrestlers in the world, like the top tier. Also there for the show were Les Thatcher, Bobby Fulton, William Regal, David Taylor and Tom Prichard. Long after the Midnight Express, Eaton was part of the Blue Bloods with Regal & Taylor in WCW. Dustin Eaton said his father was awesome. Regal said he asked for Eaton to be his tag team partner. Eaton was given a championship belt that called him "Lifetime legend" and the crowd reacted huge.

Terry Funk talked to Bill Apter about his health, the loss of his wife Vicki, reminisces about the road and announces a rare upcoming appearance here

Neither Vince McMahon nor Paul Levesque were in Minneapolis Sunday. They were conferenced in on the meeting and the show was put together the way Vince wanted it to. but he was not in Gorilla nor producing the announcers during the show. We were told that Paul Heyman was in charge of the Raw matches (which would include the main event) and Bruce Prichard in charge of Smackdown matches.

Here is the latest episode of Sammy Guevara’s vlog.

Killer Kross finally got his wish and was released from his Impact Wrestling contract. “IMPACT Wrestling has come to terms on the release of Kevin Kesar (Killer Kross),” a short statement by Impact said on their official website. The 34-year-old Las Vegas native had been working for Impact for just a year and made his debut for the promotion in June 2018. Kross has been in hot water with the company ever since the Slammiversary pay-per-view in July where he refused to blade in his first blood match against Eddie Edwards due to Impact failing to provide a doctor, ambulance, and testing at the show. Fake blood was eventually sourced out and used in the match which Kross lost. Impact ended up punishing him for it for five months and was left out of all television tapings that came after that show. He asked for his release in May of this year, something which obviously did not help matters either. His girlfriend Scarlett Bordeaux also asked for her release and it was granted a few months ago. She now is part of NXT.

Lance Archer was at the AEW show in Corpus Christi.

Cody Rhodes noted on Twitter that he has given permission to WWE to use his father’s name for the upcoming Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic tournament which will air on NXT. “I literally just gave them rights to use my dad’s name for their tag tournie,” Rhodes wrote in a reply to someone on Twitter. Cody applied for the “Dusty Rhodes” trademark in March of this year which means that any time WWE wants to use his name or sell any merchandise bearing the name, they have to either pay to license the rights or else come to some sort of an agreement. Rhodes secured the trademark as an individual so any time he decides to “loan” it to someone else, he does not need the permission of All Elite Wrestling. WWE announced this week that the Dusty Tag Team Classic will be returning in 2020 and more information, including participants, will be given on the January 1 episode of NXT on USA Network. This will be the fifth annual.

Steven Cruze’s daughter Jacqueline Leah was born Friday. Oklafan extends congratulations to his friends and family.

Tracy Smothers announced on his Facebook that he had been diagnosed with lymphoma cancer on November 14th. He also said doctors indicated that he had suffered a heart attack at some point and was not aware of it. Oklafan wishes him a full recovery.
