There will be a tribute to Gene Kiniski on Sunday at Kiniski's Reef Tavern in Point Roberts, WA starting at 5 p.m. His son Nick & Kelly Kiniski will MC the event with James Cybulski from Sportnet 650 AM in Vancouver. Admission is free. Kiniski, nicknamed Canada's greatest athlete, was one of the biggest stars in pro wrestling history worldwide, including holding the NWA title from 1966-69.

There are new Impact Tag Team champions in town as The North – the team of Josh Alexander and Ethan Page – dethroned LAX yesterday at the Bash at the Brewery Impact Plus event in
San Antonio, Texas. LAX had been champions for 68 days, winning the titles from The Lucha Bros in a Full Metal Mayhem match at the Rebellion pay-per-view back in April. Ortiz and Santana have four tag team title reigns together with a combined 663 days as champions, making them the most successful tag team in Impact history and one title reign short of Beer Money Inc and The Wolves. Alexander and Page have been tag teaming for a long time in
the indies and after Alexander came to Impact, the company paired both of them up again to form The North.

Jerry Lawler has been announced for Starrcast III.

WWE posted a video Friday with past clips of The Undertaker and Sting, captioning it with “TOMORROW. #WWEReimagined.” They also sent out a photoshopped picture of Undertaker and Sting in a WCW ring yesterday. Given the way WWE is teasing things, it doesn’t seem like it’s going to have to do with the current product.
