NEWS
As part of the "shake up" that WWE promised last Monday, the company announced five call-ups from NXT. The five individuals promoted to the main roster are EC3, Lacey Evans, Nikki Cross, and the tag team of Heavy Machinery (Otis Dozovic & Tucker Knight). EC3, the former Impact Wrestling World Champion, returned to WWE earlier this year at "NXT Takeover: Philadelphia". He made his NXT debut in March, keeping his Impact name and has been involved in some pretty good matches ever since then. EC3 worked for TNA/Impact for four years prior to his return to WWE. He previously had one stint with WWE as part of Florida Championship Wrestling and NXT as Derrick Bateman. The five will join Lars Sullivan who is also joining the main roster.

Dixie Carter congratulated EC3 on being called up to the WWE main roster: “So proud of you E! Congrats to @wwe too... Can’t wait to watch you hold those major titles in the air. Love you, Aunt D #toponepercent #wwe #raw #smackdown”

Brock Lesnar has been confirmed for the Royal Rumble go-home edition of WWE Monday Night RAW. The Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma announced on their social media accounts last week that Lesnar will be appearing on the last episode of RAW before the Royal Rumble. The episode is taking place at the Chesapeake Energy Arena on January 21st.

WWE Network's Monday's Hidden Gems from the AWA has Baron Von Raschke vs. Sgt. Jacques Goulet, Ken Patera vs. Steve Olsonoski, Rick Martel vs Bobby Heenan, Nick Bockwinkel vs Billy Robinson, and Hulk Hogan & Tito Santana vs. Ken Patera & Bobby Duncum.

Tuesday’s Hidden Gem is a Christmas night 1983 match from Mid-South Wrestling, with then tag team champions Butch Reed & Jim Neidhart defending the titles against Magnum T. A. & Mr. Wrestling II.

Beth Phoenix will be the first woman inducted into the Tragos/Thesz Hall of Fame this coming summer.

Gary Hart, L.A. Park, Jerry Jarrett, Jimmy Hart, Bill Apter, Howard Finkel, and Yuji Nagata were recently inducted into the The Wrestling Observer Hall of Fame.

Oklafan congratulates Erica, who recently surpassed one year as ASP Women's Champion. She defeated Nikki Knight for the title on December 17, 2017 at an event in Oklahoma City.

Oklafan congratulates Joe Cuedo, who recently surpassed 6 months as ComPro Oklahoma X Division Champion. He defeated Brock Baker for the title in a Triple Threat Match that also included Rob Barnes on June 22, 2018 at ComPro's "Suns Out Guns Out" event in Tulsa.

Tim Brooks has recently been diagnosed with cancer. Oklafan wishes him a speedy recovery.

Oklafan congratulates Rowe on his recent marriage to his fiancée, Sarah Logan of the Riott Squad. They tied the knot in a rather unique way in a viking-themed wedding! This is the first marriage for both Logan, 25, and Rowe, 34. The relationship between the two wasn’t a secret and last week the NXT tag team star tweeted a photo of the two together writing, “I’m going to marry this beautiful, wild, wonderful girl in seven days.” Logan and Rowe join an ever-growing list of husband-and-wife WWE Superstars. Unfortunately for the two, they are on different brands so time together will be limited for now.
