Sabu had very negative comments about Jim Ross after his fall last week. When asked to explain, he said it was over a 1988 Great American Bash show at Cobo in Detroit where he said that they gave Sheik $10,000 and his family was owed $90,000 more. Ross wasn't running the company and a $100,000 payoff for a house show didn't exist in that era. It doesn't really even exist in this era. $10,000 was unheard off for one show in 1988 unless it was a PPV show or perhaps a giant house show. Kevin Sullivan was the one who felt Sheik would help them draw big in Cobo and he did get a big reaction. It was a short main event with Dusty Rhodes & Sheik over Sullivan & Dick Murdoch in a cage match and Sheik used his camel clutch on Sullivan.

PWInsider reported that WWE is interested in signing ACH and that it appears he’ll be joining the Performance Center in January if everything goes well.

A user on the popular r/squaredcircle Reddit forum posted information about several new trademarks filed for a new promotion called All Elite Wrestling with its base address being the home of the NFL Jacksonville Jaguars. There were a few rumors a month or so ago that the son of the owner of the Jaguars was going to launch a new promotion soon along with Cody Rhodes, The Young Bucks, Kenny Omega, and would have the involvement of Chris Jericho and Jim Ross. Ross and Jericho immediately shot down the rumor once the original story, posted by SEScoops at the time, made it online.. Apart from All Elite Wrestling as a trademark, a bunch of others were filed with the United States Patent and Trademark Office including All Out, Double or Nothing, Tuesday Night Dynamite, AEW, and several logos. All Out is obviously a take of All In and Double or Nothing is what the second All In show was suggested to be named. All trademarks are currently live but pending since there is a lengthy process to assign a trademark. They were filed on November 5 by the law firm of Proskauer Rose LLP which is headquartered in New York. All trademarks filed refer to professional wrestling, live streaming, and merchandise.

Cody at the World Series Wrestling show apologized for not wrestling. He said that regardless of the stories out there, he will be coming back, paying his way back and the promotion won't have to pay him because he couldn't wrestle on this tour. He also noted being in trouble with New Japan for being in the ring with Bandido. Joey Ryan did a similar interview. Cody came out and accused Ryan of stealing his interview. Scurll later in the show also did an interview and apologized that all the interviews were turning this show into Monday Night Raw. Then Brody King (unadvertised) attacked Flip Gordon and he and Scurll beat down Gordon. Scurll said he and King are forming a tag team called Villain Enterprises.
