Former WWE Superstar Christopher Nowinski revealed on Instagram that Jim Neidhart is dealing with Alzheimer’s disease. He wrote the following remarks before later deleting it. "Always great to catch up with the living legend @natbynature when she is in Boston for RAW. Heck of a match, heck of a show. She is so courageous to share her family’s life with her father’s Alzheimer’s disease."

During the latest episode of "Busted Open" on SiriusXM, former WCW announcer Tony Schiavone went over the story of when Mick Foley won the WWF World Title for the first time and he spoiled it on "WCW Monday Nitro" before it aired. After replaying his call on the show, Schiavone said that it was the first time he heard it since then because he doesn't go back to watch or listen to his work. "The story behind that...people think that Eric [Bischoff] told me to say that, which he did not," Schiavone said. He recounted how one of the assistant producers came over during one of the breaks with "eyes big as saucers" and told him that Cactus Jack was going to win the world title and Bischoff wants him to "really crap on it" and say something bad about it. "I remember thinking to myself, if I'm a wrestling fan, which I am, I'm going to tune in to see somebody win a world title," Schiavone said, adding that he always thought that they should have ignored it and not mention it at all on television. "I'm the one who came up with 'butts in the seats,' but I was told to crap on it. It was my line," he continued. Schiavone said that fans always say that his line "turned the tide" in the Monday night war and that's when people started watching RAW over Nitro. He played down the importance or the influence he had at the time and said it was much more than just that call. Listening back to the call, he thought he sounded like "an arrogant jerk announcer" and noted that it was the wrong thing to do. He clarified that he called Mick Foley the next day and Foley told him that he was hurt for what he said but Schiavone told him that he didn't really mean any of it and he was just doing his job.

Michael Hayes tweeted about last Monday being the 17th anniversary of Terry Gordy’s death: “17 years ago today we lost Terry Gordy, here on earth. We never lost Terry in our mind, memories and heart. I can’t thank Bam enough for deciding to b my Freebird Brother. Love and miss U ALWAYS!!!”

Ric Flair tweeted that he’s up and running after undergoing surgery last week to eliminate the need for a colostomy bag: “Thank You To All The Staff At Gwinnett Medical Center For The Excellent Care During My Stay! I Was So Lucky To Be In The Hands Of An Amazing Surgeon, Dr. James Elsey. Truly Grateful For Everything! The Naitch Is Back Up And Runnin’! @GwinnettMedical”

Oklafan congratulates Xavior, who recently surpassed 6 months as MSWA Mid-South Heavyweight Champion. He defeated Grizzly Gates for the title on January 21, 2018 at an event in Oklahoma City.

Michael Barry and his family were in a car accident on June 15th. His wife fractured her elbow, got whiplash, lumber strains, and assorted contusions. Barry also got whiplash, lumber strains, and other contusions. Their daughter received no injuries as her carseat prevented her from being injured. The car however was totalled. Oklafan wishes them a speedy recovery.

Caleb Oxley had his appendix removed on Thursday. He is expected to be out of action a maximum of three weeks. Oklafan wishes him a speedy recovery.

Nikita Breznikov, buddy of Nikolai Volkoff, sent out a news update: "In reference to Nikolai, he is NOT in ICU, he is in the hospital, but is going home either tomorrow or the next day. He had a sinus infection problem but is doing better. He truly thanks EVERYONE for their concern and prayers, keep them coming, we can always use them. But he is the lion, he's not going anywhere anytime soon. God Bless the wrestling family, there is nothing like it!"
