On Sunday morning, it was reported that Danny Hodge had been located in Tulsa after being reported missing on Saturday. Hodge left his home in Perry, OK in a silver Toyota Camry at 5:20pm on July 7th. The Perry Police Department had issued a Silver Alert and stated Hodge has Dementia.

World League Wrestling announced that the 2018 Beginners Camp will be held July 27th and 28th at the Harley Race Wrestling Academy in Troy, MO

With the RAW roster having a house show at Madison Square Garden, Alexa Bliss, Matt Hardy, Jinder Mahal, Ember Moon, and Kalisto were filming in New York City on Saturday for what appears to be a commercial for "SummerSlam".

A local commercial during RAW continued to advertise A. J. Styles defending the WWE Championship against Samoa Joe for the September 16th "Hell in a Cell" pay-per-view at the AT&T Center in San Antonio, TX. However, the arena’s website lists that match as Roman Reigns vs. Kevin Owens, with no title mentioned, but the card is obviously subject to change and we aren’t even through "SummerSlam" yet.

WWE uploaded video of the entrance of A. J. Styles from last Saturday’s house show at Sumo Hall in Tokyo, Japan. Styles wore an entrance mask that he’s been wearing when going back to Japan to wrestle. You can ee the video by clicking here.

Jim Ross said on this week’s episode of his podcast that he hasn’t been contacted to do commentary for this year’s Mae Young Classic yet and assumes that means he won’t be doing it. He said he doesn’t feel he did his best work on last year’s tournament, that there were a lot of things that made it challenging, and that WWE has young commentators who need more reps. The 2018 Mae Young Classic will be taped at Full Sail University in August.

Twenty years ago last Friday, history was made at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, GA when the still undefeated Goldberg beat Hulk Hogan to capture the WCW World Ttitle on "WCW Monday Nitro". It was on July 6, 1998, as WWF and WCW were deep into their Monday night war, that Eric Bischoff decided to give away a bombastic pay-per-view caliber match on free television for the sake of television ratings. A Hogan vs Goldberg match would have made wonders in terms of PPV revenue for the company back then, but the war with Vince McMahon and WWF was more important for the powers that be in Atlanta. Over 40,000 fans packed a large portion of the Georgia Dome on that night, a stadium which 13 years later would host over 71,000 wrestling fans for "WrestleMania XXVII". Towards the end of the match, Goldberg kicked out of Hogan's leg drop, and the late Curt Hennig, in an nWo shirt, came out. But following him were Diamond Dallas Page and NBA legend Karl Malone to prevent the interference and Malone eventually hit the Diamond Cutter on Hennig to a big pop from the crowd. Eight minutes into the match, as Hogan was distracted by the events unfolding at ringside, Goldberg hit the spear on Hogan. "That's part one, now finish him off, finish him off," screamed Bobby Heenan on commentary. "This is it! This is it! Your career is on the line here. Do it, do it! This place will erupt when he picks him up," continued the late Heenan. "He's got him up," screamed Tony Schiavone. Schiavone hit a big "Oh hell yeah" when Goldberg dropped Hogan with the Jackhammer and counted with the referee for the three count. That night, the gamble of having Goldberg vs Hogan on free television paid off with Nitro getting an average of 4.8 rating. The segment involving the match drew a monster 6.91 rating, a new record at that time. It was one of the last few wins for WCW on Monday night as starting from November 2nd of that year, RAW swept Nitro every week until WCW's death in March 2001.

Bill Goldberg threw out the first pitch at last Saturday night's San Diego Padres baseball game against the Pittsburgh Pirates.

MVP posted on Instagram noted that he was released by Major League Wrestling saying it is for reasons he said he doesn't completely understand. He was wrestling and agenting for the group. Court Bauer just said that he wishes him the best, that he is fully released to appear anywhere immediately, and that this quietly took place a few weeks ago. His final appearance with MLW, a Boiler Room Brawl with Sami Callihan which was the blow-off of their angle, aired on television Friday night.

Bret Hart and Bruce Prichard have been announced as guests for the upcoming "Frightmare in the Falls" horror convention, taking place on October 27th and 28th at the Scotiabank Convention Centre in Niagara Falls, Ontario. Both WWE legends will be appearing on the Saturday only.

Alexandra Robertson of SLAM! Wrestling wrote a review of the upcoming movie "350 Days". Some of the major names in the film include Bret Hart, Billy Graham, Greg Valentine, Tito Santana, Paul Orndorff, Abdullah the Butcher, Wendi Richter, Bill Eadie (AKA Masked Superstar/Ax of Demolition), Nikolai Volkoff, Lanny Poffo, Stan Hansen, Angelo Mosca, and Lex Luger. The story is entitled "'350 Days' takes a look at life outside the ring" which you can read by clicking here. The movie is released in limited theaters on July 12th.
