On the WWE Network Hidden Gems page, there is a Sgt. Slaughter vs. Kokina Maximus (who later became Yokozuna) match from the AWA library. After the match, there is significant time left in the video. It rolls right into Kokina's WWF tryout match video with no commentary. Howard Finkel announces him as Kokina, and not as Yokozuna.

Jerry Lawler appeared on SmackDown Tuesday night from his hometown of Memphis, TN. Lawler, a former RAW and SmackDown color commentator, interviewed the WWE Champion A. J. Styles on the final stop before the "Money In The Bank" pay-per-view. Lawler is no longer a regular on WWE television but does the Kickoff shows for pay-per-view events. It was a busy week for Lawler as Friday he appeared during the filming of Dana White's "Lookin' For A Fight" series which taped on Beale Street in front of his bar and grill in Memphis.

ProWrestlingSheet.com is reporting that A. J. Styles will be the cover Superstar for the WWE 2K19 video game this year and shot the commercial earlier this week in Memphis, TN. Styles had a phenomenal year in WWE and has been champion since November of last year. He is the first former TNA talent to be appearing on the cover. Ronda Rousey will be the pre-order bonus character this time around and former World Heavyweight champion Rey Mysterio was also part of a commercial which was shot with a few other Superstars for the game. All the details will be officially unveiled on Monday by 2K in a virtual press conference starting at 8AM Pacific Time.

The "Super Show-Down" event poster has one big notable miss, the current WWE Universal champion Brock Lesnar. Lesnar is said to be leaving after "SummerSlam" and there are rumors in the MMA world that he will be making an on-screen appearance at the upcoming UFC 226 pay-per-view which is headlined by Stipe Miocic and Daniel Cormier. Lesnar made the trip to Saudi Arabia for the "Greatest Royal Rumble" so you would think that if he was available for the company he would also be going to Australia for what could be WWE's biggest - or second biggest - event of all time behind "WrestleMania 32" in terms of attendance. Missing from the poster as well are Matt and Jeff Hardy although Bray Wyatt, Matt's tag team partner, is on the poster. Daniel Bryan made it on the poster which is interesting since he has said that he did not sign a WWE deal yet and his current contract expires in the beginning of September. Those individuals who are part of the graphic promoting the show are Seth Rollins, Ronda Rousey, Triple H, The Undertaker, John Cena, Roman Reigns, and Charlotte Flair in the first row. The second row has Bobby Lashley, A. J. Styles, Nia Jax, Braun Strowman, The Miz, and Asuka. In third row are Shinsuke Nakamura, Alexa Bliss, Randy Orton, Daniel Bryan, Finn Balor, Sasha Banks, and Bobby Roode. The final row has Samoa Joe, The New Day (Jofi Kingston, Big E, & Xavier Woods), Bray Wyatt, and Carmella.

Prior to "NXT TakeOver", Bianca Belair vs. Dakota Kai and War Raiders (Rowe & Hanson) vs. TM-61 (Nick Miller and Shane Thorne) were taped for next week’s NXT TV. Adam Cole and EC3, who didn’t have matches on the card, made appearances on the pre-show with Charly Caruso, Sam Roberts, and Pat McAfee.

Hulk Hogan did a show with Ric Flair and Eric Bischoff last Saturday night. After the show Hogan was asked about going back to WWE and said things were moving "quite quickly."

All licenses issued by the Oklahoma Athletic Commission will expire on June 30th and you will need to renew. In addition, all wrestling licenses being purchased must also have a blood test for Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, and HIV.
